The singer is Aliki Kayaloglou with whom Theodorakis recorded the album Faidra (not the filmscore). Petros Pandis is the other singer on this album

The original version in the movie was performed by Melina Mercouri. Most other singers who worked with Theodorakis have performed this song at one time. This version is one of the best. I also like the version by Maria Dimitriadi.
