there are rests... I think. The way I play it is with nothing played where there are no letters. the small o's are just for keeping your place basically. Some people play every sixteenth note but if that's the way it's done then where I do rests would be ghost notes. Then you'd have three dynamic levels to deal with instead of two and more notes.
