How does the twin turbo setup work? I never understood why all forced induction boats are supercharged and not turbo. SC gives quicker throttle response(which you don't need in a boat) and turbos give more power. Turbos seem more logical to me in boats.

There are engine dynos available. That's how manufacturers get engines tuned for production vehicles. You get crank HP/Torque figures. With rolling/hub dynos for cars you get HP/Torque figures at the wheels which is less than crank/flywheel figures due to power loss through friction in the drivetrain. My 2 cents :)

Well the motor bone stock even just in the car alone has alot of power thru the whole range or rpms but where it seems like where it starts to pull is at about 3k -6k and dropping at about 7

actually it is just the opposite...water causes much more friction. In a boat you are constantly driving uphill, and the force of the water at speed has the consistancy of wet cement or thicker (which is why skiers can stand up). A prop may turn a higher RPM than a tire because it has a lower mass and is smaller, but a boat has much more friction in almost every aspect.
