@Hetnaset If you have to ask, then you probably won't get it anyway; It's not every day you see a 100lb anvil soaring through the air like that. Kinda cool, no big deal...better than watching some stupid ball game on tv. To THAT I say "what's the point"...to each his own I guess.

It's just that I find anvil shooting rather dangerous (look at "anvil shooting gone wrong") and the results not so impressive...Probaby it's just a personal view, but I wouldn't spend my spare time watching huge metal pieces going up and down.

@Hetnaset LOL, I did see that video (anvil shooting gone wrong) and that dude used up every bit of his luck on that one. Yes, it can be dangerous if done improperly, but with a little common sense and some good cannon fuse it's probably no more hazardous than driving. I wonder how the whole thing started; "say boy, fetch me that anvil and a can of my blackpowder, I got an idea"
