Unfortunately, this documentary - although a beautiful "dream" and vision of an ideal world - disregards that free markets worldwide have led to the concentration of wealth in the hands of the few (richest strata of society) and that free markets gives way to economic Darwinism - survival of the "fittest", not necessarily because of efficiency, productivity and high quality of products, but success due to monopolistic power, ruthlessness and cunning.

I'm still in favour of socialist republics.

The fact that competition dec. prices because it inc. the supply is only a short-run lived phenomenon. When competition is totally deregulated, then kicks in that "survival of the fittest". Which leads to a monopoly or an oligopoly. Price/consumers are then at the mercy of the ones that won the competitive race.
