@ZackRobertsTV Wicked Lasers provided the diodes and optics. The electronics aren't much -- $12 at most, especially because I source many of my components from scrap. The mechanical side isn't very far along yet, but it won't end up being very much because I plan to fabricate everything from cheap raw materials.

I don't want to sound like a hater but this is just a power driver based on (I assume) LM317, controlled by a uC that converts the signals from the input source on your wrist and drives the LM317 via a transistor + the uC controls the LED ladder.

@everettbradford Chill out man. I was just guessing about the usage of the LM317, if you provide any schematics... nevermind. Copied from the data sheet: "The LM117 series of adjustable 3-terminal positive voltage regulator.". It's just that regulating the laser power by your wrist isn't very innovative, however it requires some engineering skills. I think that you just misunderstood my intentions. Hope to see more of your projects.
