  • Sounds good bruh. I like how you "smoothing out" that melody. Keep on playing man.

  • Hugh?

  • The old fashioned box chords...brings back old memories when I was a kid.

  • I could tell it was the song! Praise GOD!

    This song ministers to me.

I'm gonna put my robe...and tell the story how i made it over!

    Amen

  • it was good!:) stop complainin its creativity!

  • good job but thats not the version i'm familiar with!

  • @trapped12 if u were at my church when we sing it u would hear the melody the choir holds the main melody.. thanks there are chord improvisions for a reason!! USE THEM

  • musicians know music. i knew what it was not because he said it but because i knew the song.

one musician to another WELL DONE! VERY CREATIVE! & CONTINUE TO BE BLESSED & ALLOW GOD TO USE YOU EVEN THE MORE! =)

  • ok people learn to have creativity...learn to not play things exactly as a cd. that makes u a copycat not a musician

  • Sounds good but if you wouldnt have told us what you were playing before you began, I wouldn't have known. Nice Work!

  • @motifgs300 Good job playing but it wasn't the way the song goes. Yes it was creative but it might as well been a song you created. People arrange songs the way they do for a reason, to accommodate the vocals in the song, maintain the melody which is key and also the rhythm. And to also get a certain feeling you want the song to create with all of that. You're not being a copycat if you're playing the song the way it was arranged, written and sung.

  • @motifgs300 Never change the melody of a song. It was arranged that way for a purpose. Adding to a song and being creative with a song is totally different from changing the way the verse, bridge and chorus was arranged.

  • @motifgs300 Not necessarily. A sound musician should be able to play the music as it's written as well as be able to improvise as well. So many musicians try to be so hip and phat that the foundation of the music is lost.
