I always waited for my dolls to come to life at night...hated them. Always kept them closed up in the closet. Did you ever watch "Night Gallery" a spin off of the Twilight zone? Between this and the episode "the Doll" from the Night Gallery I've always been freaked out by dolls!

@davidpar2 Yes it definitely was bizarre but then again I have seen psychologically bizarre films with poignant themes that make Barbarella look completely childish.

I love the film but it's cheesy look and casting of Jane Fonda were nothing more than intentional and designed do capitalize on the psychedelic era of it's time.

I was actually complementing it when I made my original comment, I own the DVD and occasionally find myself watching it when I'm in a corny mood.
