I have no objection to a book called DRINKING MILK on dairy cattle abuse. But EATING MEAT? He doesn't know how a beef calf is raised and its obvious!

There is a big difference between beef cattle raising and dairy cattle. Mr. Foer doesn't know what he is talking about. Beef cattle have to be raised on wheat and grass, not in feed yards!! Feed yardsd are very expensive and only used for a few days before the calf is butchered.

Where exactly did Jonathon Safran Foer see these cattle? Texas is where most cattle in U.S. come from. I have lived in Tx all my life. I grew up on one of the largest cattle ranches here. We had 8000 cattle. It was pasture land, trees, windmills. Nice place for a cow. Every rancher I have ever seen raises their cattle on pasture land. You know wheat & grass.
So the fact that cattle are raised in horrible environment 99% of the time, is stupid & ludicrous

yeah, I agree with aliosha.
we don't really give the time to anyone, let alone people who are amazing like him.
If I hadn't read his books, I would think he was interesting, but I wouldn't remember him. I wouldn't care.

I think that we like him because he is intelligent, sensible and so so sweet. I believe that if we did not know him or if only we see him in the street, we would not pay attention to him.
