@TwinZiEx There's no such thing as 7.1 headphones, its a marketing hoax to make people believe they're gonna get surround sound from headphones. All headphones are 2.0 stereo, with a few exceptions, which usually fail. You need a good soundcard with propery surround effects like dolby headphone to get an illusion of surround sound in games, and you won't need any special headphones for that.

The Mixamp is unnecessary - search for "Lindy USB audio" on Amazon. It works perfectly with the PS3. (And I actually use it a lot with my PC too, because it's so much louder.)

@trje246 if you use a high quality sound card you can put 7.1 through a high quality stereo headset, im using a xonar xense that came bundled with pc350s and the surround is perfect i actually have a feeling i struck gold on my first high end audio setup.

I am the owner of PC350 and i gonna buy this pc360 because it's 50 Ohm not 150 Ohm like pc350, so any sound card will do, music quality i think is better on pc360, but keep in mind, diffrent frequncy response, pc 350 10-26000, pc 360 is 15-28000, what is better? you decide, pc 350 is def0 clearer sound, but still.. clearer doesnt means nicer)))

Not that there's really much to configure with PS3 settings But, some things turned on or off makes all the difference.

The PC360 is a big improvement over the PC350, and a lot better then any headset or headphones that you've posted yet, they have a much wider sound stage, more comfortable because it's not closed like the last one, which made your ear sweat, but they're still not near as good as and headphones such as, HD595, AD700, or K 701.

if you like listening to music and you're headset I would suggest one of these. the hd595 has the same sound stage as the PC360 because they use the same driver.

@akaTRENT yeah it's based on the hd595, but it still doesn't live up to the hd595, which is around $100 cheaper then the PC360, so really for anyone looking to get these, or really any headset, i would go with the hd595, then just get the zalman clip-on mic, works quite well

personally I use the A40 audio system for xbox, but I'm getting some new hd595 and a sound card soon.
