To me it started off like a battle for control. Water and fire don't mix. But then in the end they found a way to co-exist with each other. I did notice the fire and water theme at several of the attractions in the park.

No. In BraviSEAmo, fire and water never met. But there never been a story that said they were fighting each other. The spirit of water is singing to herself when the spirit of fire appears. So basically, they're not fighting. It's just an unexpected meeting.
