Most audience were Tuvans and as I remember they were applouding:)
They were my favourite participants at the competition. Moments were the change the roles (Shonchalai is singing kargyraa whereas Nachyn hihg voice) are amazing!
Is it a Tuvan custom to applaud "during" the show or are there just way too many americans in the audience? It kind of ruins the listening experience :)
Otherwise, great stuff. Especially the elongated sygyt tones, that's not something that just anyone can do.
My very dear friends and teachers, Nachun (male) and Shanjulai (female). Shanjulai is the best female khoomeigie or Tuvan throat singer and Nachun, the best all around Tuvan instumentalist. Much love!

I was one of about only 10-12 Americans in the audience of about 400. The Tuvans led the cheering, the Americans were humble.
