  • @OZMS1518 Draw a plumb line on a rafter then set your protractor to get the pitch, or you could just set it up against the ridge (but you're then relying on ridge being plumb), or if the rafters aren't exposed like in the vid you can draw a plumb line on the gable and set it against the overhang,

    Pull out your little red book and you've then got your figures for rafters, hips, height, diminishers

    Btw, give the metric system a try, alot easier dealing with 10ml, 100ml than 3/8ths, 11/16ths etc

  • I suggest looking into the camera a bit more and not off to the side. That's a little creepy to most. However, solid video with good information.
