This video made me a little home sick for Wisconsin. Now that I live in California I kinda miss the deer hunting stories that I would hear in the paper mills of Wisconsin and Michigan.

@bestbass Well if you live in California you should take up mule deer hunting. it is much more satisfying, and challenging. All of their senses are more acute so you have to work twice as hard to fill the tag. Not to mention that stories would be better.

@MattCHollis1988 What makes mule deer so much harder to hunt? I have hunted them before in Nevada and found that they are just about as easy to hunt as whitetail. Instead of a treestand, you shoot 300 yards. I found you can actually be a little more careless with mulies than you can be with whitetail.

@TheMNDeerHunter I am talking about stalking. I was raised to stalk. Mule deer have a higher cense of smell and have better hearing. also hunt exclusively with a bow I only target shoot with my rifle.

this buck is a bruser but i just came back from my taxidermist to pick up my buck and he told me this deer was illegaly shot. this suprise me also. He told me this deer dnr research about it and the buck was raise to it size and this guy got no record people seening it at all. My taxidermist said it was announce last year or this year. he said this deer is haging on the wall at wisconsin dnr building, dang that suck

This buck was shot outside of fond du lac to the west and it truely is an unbelieveable animal i had seen this thing in person at dutches trading post and have meet wanye as well. Wanye is a very humble guy and i am glad that Fond du Lac county is finally being recongnized as a trophy county! Its now home to Wisconsins New nontypical record and it beat the old one by ten inches plus!
