Ohh... I loved it. They used to sing this song in school along with GOD SAVE THE QUEEN. I hope they should start doing this again. It's shameful that we Canadians do not care about our country or its history anymore...

Well, I think you are right but I have to say that an immigrant cares more about this country than Canadians. I am a teacher and majority of the monarchists in my history class are Chinese, blacks and Indians. I was surprised when I saw Queen's picture posted on Indians Locker. Anyway, it was nice to see that...

Beautifully played. I only recently came across this piece, and am now haunted by it. Moved to tears also. And I'm not Canadian! Some compositions, I guess, both in music and lyric have this power of immediate emotional connection, irrespective of nationality. The German and the Welsh national anthems also do it for me.
