ummm retard, in NRL theres a celary cap. its around 3 million. a top player might get a couple hundered thou or more. no protection at all. that player is injured. there goes quite a LARGE fraction of the money a team can use. and trust me, a couple hundred grand is the same as your million on a player when the team can only spend 3 mill or so. and lets face it, our sport isnt as much about the big sponsors as yours, ours is more about the game, so your game has more oppurtinity with moneyanyway
