I wish all the lakes and rivers and streams were not polluted in michigan. Get rid of the oil, pesticides, and dont let in the frackers for natural gas! If they arent there yet, they will try and be! Watch the documentary gasland!

agricola, No they won't. The Southwest states use water from the Colorado river and will probably in the near future use desalinated water from the Pacific Ocean

Glad to hear from you! My family was originally from the Netherlands - Friesland to be exact. I did not know there was another Peter Schriemer across the sea. Do you know much about the Peter Schriemer who was a rock star in the bands "Jan Hekert Experience" and "Subway"?

Well i am from Friesland as well. The 'rockstar' Peter Schriemer you mentioned is familiar to me, he was living in Groningen. But he never was a big rockstar as far as i kwnow. Do you still have relatives living in Friesland?

I moved from Michigan to Tennessee this year, I really miss the Michigan waters. I enjoyed doing several differant rivers and enjoyed being on the great lakes even more.
