  • U look 49 and your playing with laser tag guns wow wtf

  • @mw2master475 You make fun of me for enjoying something in life. Is that where you get your joy? I hope so, because otherwise, why do it? I truly hope that you can find something that you really enjoy, and that no one in the world makes fun of. Let me know if you find it, and what it is, because so far, I don't believe such a thing exists.

  • I remember when I got these about three years ago on Christmas, and we used to play with them often at our campground. It's too bad they aren't selling the versions with the attachments at retail stores any more, but I would still recommend the set to anyone. I actually have to clean my blue gun right now, since the reload got jammed. It's too bad they never came out with that rapid fire attachment, huh?

  • @LouisAndPillz yeah. some people think they can make some, though. take a look at 1slt (dot) com once a month, and maybe something will happen eventually.

  • It goes for $99 in stores, and you charge $449?!?!?! You, sir, are a money-grubbing thief! I will never buy from your amazon! I hate people who charge like 4-5 times what something is worth..."Oh, it's ultra-rare! -insert goofy laugh-" Yeah, the hell RIGHT! I love laser tag, and you ruin it by overcharging. GOOD DAY, SIR!

  • @ChozoSR388 Not to impugn your intelligence, but I have no choice but to assume that not only do you not realize that I only REVIEWED the product, but also that review was posted THREE YEARS AGO when the product only cost original retail. I must also assume that you do not realize that I an NOT SELLING THEM anywhere, let alone through Amazon, and that those money-grubbers are also NOT AMAZON but scalpers trying to make a buck off suckers looking for presents for their spoiled kids.

  • @GregGaub hey im not spoiled and im a kid

  • @opticalmaxtor Did your parents pay $500 for it? If so, you're a spoiled kid with ignorant parents. If they paid retail, then you're a lucky kid with smart parents.

  • @ChozoSR388 I agree with your sentiment, however. The problem here is that you clearly have no idea who to direct it to. Why not go look at the SELLERS that list it at those prices and send THEM hateful messages?

  • Whats better.. this or Light strike?

  • @3DSNewsAndReviews This. But don't spend tonson the old set shown in this review. Just get the "Nerf" branded set at Toys R Us. No accessories, but just as good. Light Strike has too many fundamental flaws to be a good set for actual competitive play, but it's fine for tikes who like to play with noisy toys and flashy lights.

  • i thought this was a nerf product

  • @TheBadBuffalo It was put under the Nerf banner a couple years ago to try and get it to sell better. But even the Nerf box says "Lazer Tag" on it. It's also lacking the scopes and shotguns. Lazer Tag is licensed by Hasbro, who owns Nerf, so they can do that kind of thing.

  • I wanna buy one. I broke mines

  • Great review! Thanks. I'm going to buy this for my kids :)

  • can you have more than two people playing the game? also, is there a laser that shines out. is there any toy lasers that shine out?

  • @healthyamerican you can play as many people together as you want. No, there are no toy laser tag that have lasers because LASERs are dangerous, and this is the kind of thing that would cause lasers to be shined in the eyes almost all the time. That's a BAD thing. I discourage everyone even thinking about putting a laser on their toy gun to NOT DO IT!!!

  • just play airsoft or paintball

  • @airsofter691 No, thanks. But it's cool that you enjoy those sports. To each his own. Don't be a hater.

  • do you have to shoot the sensore to tag someone or just the gun

  • @Zeuz4567 It's focused IR, not a real LASER. If you aim at the gun, you'll hit the sensor, but technically you're hitting the sensor... that's where the sensor is. ;-) But, as I said, since it's not a LASER, although you DO have to aim it, it's not THAT precise. The overwhelming majority of laser tag products, both toy and commercial, use focused IR, not real LASERs for data transmission (the tag). The indoor places that have LASERS usually only use those for show, anyway.

  • Is Hasbro considering discontinuing the LTX line?

  • @sh1shka606 Search me. It sure seems like they've given up on it, but then more Phoenix LTX sets keep finding their way into stores, so maybe they're just biding their time until something else happens. Who knows? Only Hasbro.

  • can you buy the scope separately?

  • @TheDgdc only if someone sells it separately on ebay

  • the one on hasbro shows only the tiny guns does it come with the features or not? such as the powershot. scope, etc.

  • @gabrielandrose Sigh... this review is HOW OLD? The set in the review comes with those things. The set you're looking at does not. If the set you are looking at came with them, it would SHOW THEM. Does it show them? No? Then it doesn't come with them.

  • you can get those at amazon for $400 i have them

  • ok thks btw were u get those

  • um question that scope thing attatchment it reminds me of nerf and just wondering is it made by hasbro or something

  • @Syntaair You might want to turn the volume up and listen to the video. :P

Yes, These are made by Hasbro. They were designed by the same group that designs Nerf guns. Unfortunately, they are not the same size, so you can't use Nerf stuff on Lazer Tag guns.

  • dude, my lazer tag is really screwed up. Sometimes, it goes into 3 shot burst and you can't hit the other player

  • dude u forgot to talk about the sheild attachment

  • @L0velyLIZard dude, WTF are you talking about?

  • @GregGaub he means the button right in front of the trigger. if you look at it closely you see the button in the same hole as the trigger.

  • @werewolffanatic123 Yeah, but it's not an "attachment". If I forgot to mention shields, well... oh well, I guess. I knew it was there, it just slipped my mind while filming this quick, unscripted review.

For those wanting me to explain every little thing, please watch my "Lazer Tag Phoenix In Detail" video. Shields are included in that video. ;-)

  • @GregGaub Can't I get it cheaper? It's 400$ dollars!

  • @RobloxFreak122 Shop around, dude. As cool as I think Lazer Tag is, there's better gear out there for $400. Do some hunting on the 'bay and set up a search. watch the auctions and set a budget and only bid your budget. Sooner or later you'll pick up a set at a SANE price. $400 is also known as "Amazon Scalper".

  • @RobloxFreak122 $400 at Amazon. At Walmart, it's only $70, but from Hazbro's website, it's only $50.

  • They're makin better laser tag guns now....... after like 20 years.

  • I CANT FIND ANY IN MY CITY OF WINNIPEG, MB in CANADA

  • @daCuzinz4 Look at Toys R Us. Otherwise, use the internet.

  • Were do you get then from

  • @mitchell10901 I bet if you exercised your powers of observation and deduction, you could figure it out.

  • dammit do they still make theese? i hear they don't and i really wont one!

  • @hellssantaclawz ebay, dude. ebay

  • Thank you soo much for this review, you rock!

  • Thanks for the informative review!

  • Nice tutorial!!

    And nice comebacks too hehehe.

    Looking foward to these babies.

    Thanks for the info!

  • @lobsterrawr Thanks. Unfortunately, you're a little late to the party. The few that are still out there fore sale are usually WAY overpriced. Great toy, still, but I'm not sure they're worth more than $100 a set.

  • No but i want it! :D

  • HAI BILLY MAYS HERE

  • @OMGitsthellamaking that's real original. sorry to say, though, I take that as a compliment. I hope that works out for you.

  • do you mind telling me if there is such thing as a "universal" lazer gun? or are they all that way. I mean i want to know if i use another brand on another brand.

  • There is no such thing as a "universal" lazer tag gun. There are some models that have a special mode that is compatible with the old Worlds of Wonder Lazer Tag protocol, but otherwise you have to stay within a brand for compatibility, and sometimes within a subset of the brand. Most Laser Challenge stuff works together because it hasn't changed in 20 years, but most LC stuff on the shelves these days is crap.

A standard would be great, but I don't see it happening.

  • man... u have no life..

  • Dude, if *I* have no life, then what does that say about you, who is trolling in my video comments?

    Pot, meet Kettle.

    Have a good day!

  • Touché.

  • @GregGaub ikr i hate people who do that like tuosdude

  • There is a set for sale on eBay now for a hundred bucks less than the ones on Amazon. Search "LTX Pheonix" Still more than they were originally but then again, they're no longer produced with all the extras.. For some reason they put Nerfs' name on it and dumbed it down.

  • sweet

  • dudes, go to lasertagparts . com and buy the circuit board there for your own laser tag. There is even a pdf if you want to assemble yours. You can make your own body or use a cheap airsoft rifle.

  • I know about MilesTAG. In fact, I know Jim who runs it. MilesTAG is great for people who like to build stuff and who have the money for all the needed parts.

I don't. I just like to play. There's nothing on the market that can beat Lazer Tag in value. You get a LOT of value with Lazer Tag for the money.

I've seen a lot of great MilesTAG stuff. I'd love to have some of my own, but I don't have the money for the parts or the skill to assemble it.

  • All the sites say they're $80 but they redirect me to Amazon where they are $250. Why are they so much now?

  • Because you're reading reviews for a product that hasn't been on shelves for over a year. Any that are left are being sold by people trying to get as much money as possible. Unfortunately, they're happy to sit on those toys until some sucker comes along, since they don't have a store space to pay for.

Ebay will have better deals, but still be more than original retail price.

  • hi billy mays here.

  • THANKS!

  • THEY DONT COME WITH THOSE ATTACHMENTS ANYMORE!!! WTF How do I get them???

  • ebay

  • how do u join a game for this gun?

  • Please watch my "Lazer Tag Phoenix LTX in Detail" video for that information.

  • Where can I get the shotgun attachment for the new Nerf ones?

  • You buy but the old set. Maybe next year they'll have the attachments separately.

  • @GregGaub Thanks for the help.

  • Greg, why do you prefer the LTTO to the LTX? And what's the standard price for these things? I was just looking on Amazon and the LTX price was $50, but the LTTO was close to $500 -- I'm guessing because of the holidays. Let me know, thanks!

  • It has more features, primarily more in-game information like how much time is left, how much ammo or shields I have left (the actual number, not just what's 10 or less), even who tagged me last. It's just better, but it's also more complicated, which is why Hasbro dumbed it down for the LTX.

As for price, well, that $500 is Amazon scalpers, *cough* I mean, Marketplace Sellers. They set the prices high and wait for suckers.

Set yourself a price of $20-30/tagger or so, and stick to it, on ebay.

  • I want to see the video game of Phoenix LTX.

  • Imagine a really crappy TV game where you shoot at guys on screen popping out from behind stuff. Oh yeah, and imagine how now matter how accurate your aim is, you miss most of the time, and end up just holding the gun to the screen to play. Then imagine it gets really hard for no apparent reason.

    Honestly, it's not worth seeing

But if you look hard enough, you can find video of it in play on YouTube here. Search for TagFest videos from last year.

  • Greg if money is no option what is the best lazer tag gun and do u have a review for it? Can post the range of each gun and post comparative review just on specs.

  • If money is no OBJECT, then you can go pro where you're looking at $1000 per player. Do you have that much? If not, the next step down is DIY. Google for MilesTAG. For that you're looking at $2-300 per player, but you have to build it yourself. Below that, and well ABOVE all other toys, is Lazer Tag Team Ops and the LTX taggers. I'm sorry, but I don't have a comparative review for you.

  • ty man

  • Hey greg, i cant decide right now which lasertag gun to get

the phoenix or a teamops one? O_O

and which team ops would be good?

    thx in advance XP

  • all Team Ops taggers are good. If you can get either one, get Team Ops. If LTX is all you can get, then get it. It's a good gun.

  • kk thanks XD *checks for money* Lol

  • some of my friends just got these and we're having trouble hosting games to them. it seems that if we let them sit for a while, it will work the first time. then the second time it makes a funny noise. i don't have the instructions and my friend can't read. do you know how to sync them with hosts?

  • Did you watch my Phoenix LTX in Detail video? It shows how to do it. Also my site has detailed instructions.

  • i did, and it works, but i was just wondering if you knew why it would only work sometimes.

  • usually problems are due to not aiming the LTX directly at the host dome until it's done. Most often, people will let the LTX drop half-way through, thinking it's done, when it's not. It's not done until BOTH the host AND the LTX make the "kaching!" noise. THEN you can move on to the next LTX.

Also note that it has to be ONE AT A TIME, and that you should NOT have LTTO users joining at the same time as LTX.

  • that was the problem. thanks.

  • just got a set of these myself and LOVE THEM! A bunch of my friends are getting them so we can play all over nyc

  • are there any flaws with team ops and phoenix LTX (when in compatable modes) as far as hit registration? LTX I imagine has longer range?

  • Not sure why you think the LTX has longer range. The lens assembly, IR LED and power supplies are identical between the LTX and the LTTO Deluxe and Drone taggers. Their ranges are the same. Certainly, though, don't mix modes, like some on indoor and some on outdoor. Also, the LTX indoor mode is different than the LTTO indoor mode, so if using mixed gear in a game, just use outdoor mode on all taggers. They're not "incompatible", but if both were on indoor, it would be unfair to the LTTO.

  • nerf sells this

  • Yes. They do NOW. Note that NERF is owned by Hasbro, the current Licensee of Lazer Tag. Really all they did is add the Nerf brand to the set so that it gets put in with the Nerf stuff and therefore gets more exposure and hopefully more sales. It's the same tagger, though without the Shotblast or scope or TV game.

  • looks like billy mays

  • Yeah. Because every man with a beard looks like Billy Mays. But you know what? I'm taking that as a compliment. Hope that works for you.

  • I accually, got my lazer tag set, the same kind, for 35$ at sears.. they were 40% off and we found a cupon on the floor for them, and we used it, and the cupon was for %50 off so, we got lucky in that sense, at sears they're originally 70$ . Dont waste time buying other cheap kinds, because they wont last or be much fun .

  • it looks like a good gun, but i can't justify paying 70 for 2 units, i would love to see a single gun sold, but i know that 2 is always better than one, maybe sell 2 taggers without the tv unit for a cheaper price, lately i saw a gun sold without the shotblast attachment, i wasn't too keen on that idea... they should sell 2 units with the shot blasts and loose the tv game idea, or sell one tagger with the shotblast, but that's just me... thanks for the review...

  • I agree on all counts. Consider, though, that original retail was actually $90 for this set. $70 isn't a bad deal considering that it comes with the accessories. $50 for two taggers with NO accessories is a little high, imho, but this stuff is still worth it. Hands down it's the best consumer gear currently on the market.

  • i suppose so, but i would like a slightly better deal, that's all i am asking, i guess that's a lot to ask, but that's just how i feel...

  • hehe, no, I'd like them to have more options as well. Keep an eye on ebay, of course, but even more, watch the prices in stores after the holidays, or even right up to the second half of December. I picked up a pile of the old set (as in this review) for a fraction of the original cost when Costco was trying to get rid of them.

  • i will keep an eye on ebay but alot of the ppl selling the ltx are trying to sell it at the 90 that you mentioned, no real great deals out there, i will have to wait til it goes on clearance, at walmart or something...

  • Damn! I have nerf guns, I like them, I want paintball. But CO2 and nerf bullets, and paintballs get to a lot of money!

    Should I get these?

  • Well, if having a projectile is very important to you, which it seems to be, then you might not enjoy laser tag. Some people are just like that. The game itself can suck in many ways, but if it has projectiles flying through the air, it's automatically fun.

Me, and most of those I play with, prefer good game play with all the benefits of laser tag (long range, accuracy, low cost, etc...) over the need to see something fly through the air.

In the end, it's up to you. Just remember to have fun. :)

  • Laser tag is more suited for adults than toddlers. In my opinion. Leave LC to the kids. LTTO and Phoenix get my nod for adult use. To bad I have a huge pile of LC that I am not going to use. I am going to buy lots of LTTO and LTX gear instead. The LLTL has a long way to go ;)

  • Sorry you have to re-invest in the better gear. :\

Hopefully you can get something for the LC gear if you decide to sell it. Otherwise, keep it for the tikes to play with while the big kids and adults use the good stuff. ;-)

  • Yeah, I'm gonna keep the LC for my young cousins. I will be buying a set of ltx this thursday. Can't Wait! :)

  • One question. Why the heck did hasbro cancel the phoenix line? Why did they cancel the LTTO line as well. They sold good and they where making money. What is wrong with them!

  • They didn't cancel the Phoenix LTX line. It's just being produced with an additional brand on top, the Nerf brand. It can be found in two tagger sets without accessories for $50 in the Nerf aisle of toy stores all over right now.

The LTTO line, well... I agree with you, but they felt it was too complicated. They didn't like all the people calling for help or returning them because of how complicated they were. People still think laser tag is for toddlers.

  • where did you get it? i am trying to find one all over the place and can't find one? My friend got 4 at wal-mart but they do not have any at the wal-mart me near? could you help me?

  • Dude, I reviewed this over 9 MONTHS ago. They're not in stores any more. Your friend got lucky.

There's a new set under the Nerf brand, but it's the SAME tagger, just without the shot gun or scope or crappy TV game. Those are available now, usually in the Nerf section.

  • i found a store that selles them all the guy has like 50 of them

  • Hopefully it's the original set with the shot guns and scopes, but either way, it's good gear. Have fun!

  • ya it is the original set and every thing but you got to ask him if you can buy one then he goes in the back and you can buy it for 20$

  • That sounds like a strange "store" you found, there. But hey, $20 for a set is an absolute steal! Hopefully it's not a real one. ;-) Get as many as you can afford. Why the guy doesn't put them on Amazon or ebay for two or three times the price is beyond me, but whatever.

  • really lol i went there like 5 mins a go and he said they all work but team 1 and 2 does not work so that is why they are 20$ each but i only want to 4 or 2 but they are very kick but lazer tag guns they are very good oh nce video

  • You definitely know alot about laser tag. Our church youth group has laser tag at the church during the winter. Several years ago we bough shocking laser tag guns because that way people would KNOW they got hit, but it can only do teams - no everyone for himself. I like the vibration thing on this and options. Is the Nerf $50 one as good as the one with the shot gun and scope? Or should I look at some other guns out? I'm limited to around $500 to start off.

  • The Nerf set is the best value in laser tag toys currently available. You won't be sorry.

  • I Find Competetive LQ Laser Tag is way more fun i play airsoft, paintball, and outdoor laser tag and it is true that that airsoft/paintball brings more adrenaline and makes you not want to get hit. But i like LQ-Laser Quest more because of the tournament style not the shoot, hide bullshit but the up close moving your body like crazy contact. Some of you may find it stupid, wierd, and completely idiotic but its how you play competetive laser tag. Ive played all of that so im basing this off of exp.

  • I totally respect that, dude. It's rare to find someone that has played them all. Usually people play one or two of the 4 types, but not all 4. I will admit to thinking that the crazy moving and spinning stuff is kind of silly looking, but at the same time, as long as the people are having fun when they play, that's all that really matters. I'll never tell someone to stop playing something they enjoy, just because I don't think I would enjoy it. :)

  • it seems pretty fun but the sounds are too childish and the price is a little too much for a game.

  • True. It IS marketed toward kids, after all. There are other ways of getting cool tag gear, though. There's some great DIY stuff out there, and professional (like for businesses) quality stuff too. This is, however, the best value in tag gear, hands down. Lots of people paint their taggers to look more realistic, or future-realistic as well.

  • man play airsoft

  • man play laser tag

  • i did one time but i'd rather camo up and have the adrenaline of bbs flying past me

  • Oh, we camo up all right. You should see the guys when we play at the old coastal artillery batteries each year. We are often mistaken for airsofters.

We prefer the long range, accuracy, low cost, zero impact, and cheat prevention of laser tag, though. But we do have players that take part in all three pursuit sports.

I'm guessing you've never played a good game of OLT. Don't base your opinion of laser tag on indoor/arena tag, or cheap toys like Laser Challenge.

  • you should see me and my friends plus look at lasertag guns their just not fun i mean its cool but me and my friends would rather custumize our guns

  • Check out the Phoenix LTX Basic Training vid for one of my guys. And that's his "tame" version. ;-)

As for customizing, we mod, paint, and even recase our taggers. But since we play in public parks most of the time, we try to keep things friendly. The appearance of the taggers is secondary to having fun.

I'm not trying to convert you, dude. I know what airsoft is all about. I just want to help correct a lot of people's incorrect assumptions about what LASER TAG is.

  • can you add scopes magizines upgrade springs batteries lasers slings bipods rails etc

plus we have variety blowbacks aegs springers snipers lmgs shotguns

i understand why you play lasertag but it's not very big compared to paintball or airsoft

  • Of course I can't add springs and crap, those are for projectiles. But we do add scopes, bipods, rails, slings, tac lights, and more. We also have a variety of weapons, especially when you count the custom stuff people make and/or recase the guts into.

I understand why you play airsoft or paintball, but it's people's ignorant assumptions about what laser tag is that keeps is relatively small.

I've never had a paintballer or airsofter come and play with us and NOT tell me they had fun.

  • your sport is fun but i enjoy milsim more than lasertag is just its not big because people like our sports because you shoot a projectile that hurts not some light beam that registures on a vest

  • Milsim is a style of play, not a specific sport. We play milsim laser tag, you play milsim airsoft.

Your other comment is really the crux of the debate. Some people can't imagine having fun without a projectile. Nevermind that you can't see real bullets coming from far enough away to dodge them, or that are effected by spin and wind within a hundred feet of flight, but whatever.

Laser tag will never have a projectile. If that's all that matters to you, so be it.

Fun is what matters to me.

  • lasertag just looks like it's for five year olds though i mean you shoot a lazer and even if your guns look real i have yet to see one look excactly real like airsoft (don't comment on orange tips you can remove them easily)

  • I'm not trying to convert you, dude. I can tell that you're a kid who things airsoft, and specifically the way you play and the gear you use, is the BEST THING EVAR!!!11

    That's cool.

MY POINT is that you are basing your opinion of laser tag on the lame type of gear and the lame style of play.

I could easily get together a group of people that play just like you do, with guns that look as real as yours. The only difference is no little plastic bullets.

Go have fun with your bb gun, dude.

  • i've played lazertag a couple of times (came in first place a couple times) but it wasn't as fun as airsoft / airsoft you realy have a reason not to get shot because it can hurt but thats the fun part laughing you head off as your friend in pain

  • Have you played outdoor laser tag? I played airsoft/paintball and I find laser tag to be just as fun. They are all different games too.

  • Great review... you convinced me to get these! Sadly, Amazon refuses to ship them to me in Australia, so unless someone knows a reliable place to buy from, it looks like I can't get one! :(

Still, thanks for the awesome review, mate!

  • great review!!!!!!

  • I want to buy a laser tag system and this one has caught my eye. My only question is: Is the LTTO model needed to host games, or if I buy a couple sets of the phoenix, can i just use those? Also, which would you prefer? Great vid btw, lots of detail

  • Your best bet is to get whatever you find the best and most plentiful deal on. The Phoenix set will be re-released this fall under the Nerf banner (Nerf Lazer Tag, I guess) as a set with two pistols, no TV game, Shot Blast, or Scope. It will be plentiful and about $50. You can find old LTTO taggers on ebay, and even thrift stores if you look.

You need at least one LTTO to host games, but Phoenix by themselves are plenty fun. I usually tell people to get of each LTTO, and the rest whatever.

  • were can i get one

  • well, the review is for Amazon, so maybe there? Yeah.. there's even a link in my description, so prolly there. But also other places. Mostly online right now, but they will be in stores again this fall before X-mas

  • how far do they go?

  • The more accurate your shot, the better your range will be, but these can reliably get well over 200 feet, and I've known players to get over 400 feet with them.

  • ok thanks :D

  • I am planning to get sme for my birthday and I was wondering if getting only one set is realy worth it..by what people say I think it will be but I wanted to be shure

Also your review is realy great.

  • One set is "worth it" sure, but you'll have WAY more fun with more people. If none of your friends have any, see if you can get two sets, or try to get some friends to get some too. 1 on 1 games are fun, but they get old fast. 2 on 2 or more is 10 times the fun and then some. That's why I started a club. :)

  • Ok thanks for the advice and the great review.

  • hey greg! im planning on getting 2 sets for my birthday so i can play with some friends. is there any cheaper places to buy it from other than amazon?

  • that depends on how much running around you want to do. lots of stores HAD them, but most sold through them after christmas. Some still have a few, but it will be a hunt to find them. Online, other than Amazon, your best bet would probably be ebay. Just be patient for the deals.

  • I was suppose to buy one of them, but they couldn't ship it to sweden, from "Amazon" (where the store now might be?) so i was looking for something similar to them, somewhere in sweden. And i found this;

    Laser Challenge PRO

Now, you seem to be good at this, so should you recommend them, or are they not worth the money, and has to bad quality? Is it something else you could recommend, that might be in sweden?

    THANKS!

  • Laser Challenge PRO is ok if you play at night so that sun-hits aren't going to happen (which they do), and you can ensure that no one just shoots constantly to avoid being tagged, since if they do, they are invincible.

I would not recommend LC PRO to anyone other than a little kid (8 or under) that only wants to run around going PEW PEW! rather than actually play a game of laser tag.

For anyone else, they are NOT worth the money and are BAD quality.

Keep looking for a way to get these.

  • It was really kind of you to respond so fast, and thanks for answering my question! I watched the other video of this weapon that you have uploaded, and it seem much much better than any other weapon ive seen. I'll keep looking for them, cause it would be really nice to have one of em.

  • I heard the green dot sight isnt alined with the shot, so you have to use the ironsights to be accurate

  • That's for the crappy video game. It's not even worth playing. Both the sights work great for real laser tag games.

  • ummmmmmmm, I would have said so if they do. They don't. They only come with the Deluxes. They suck anyway.

  • think you would like airsoft try it out

  • think you would like laser tag try it out

  • I did and I didn't like it

  • That's too bad. Did you play outdoor laser tag with good equipment and more than one other player? Most people have a lame one-on-one game with cheap crap like Laser Challenge and base their opinion on that. Imagine if someone based their opinion of airsoft on cheap $10 spring pistols against their little brother. Not what you'd call good airsoft, is it? The same thing applies to laser tag.

So, what kind of laser tag did you play?

  • Actually cheap $10 airsoft pistols can be fun as hell

  • true, but they break fast, ive had a couple of those. Me and my brother are big into airsoft, we bought a field and bui;t binkers. We havve lots of friends who war with us.

  • Sweet and yes they do break fast.

  • dude play airsoft lazer tag is freaking retard unles ur like 8

  • Yeah you can't get them in stores, or on most websites. But like he said - Amazon and Ebay are your best shots at getting the old models - even if they are extremely overpriced. I'm sure if you do some hunting though, you can find a good deal. I found the old blaster model for just $30, a great deal considering its $100 or more everywhere else.

  • Actually my brother bought five packs -- ten guns -- from Wal-Mart for $20 each.

  • Yeah, he was lucky and got some when they were on clearance. Places like WalMart don't like to have expensive toys hogging shelf space when it's not holiday shopping season, so they clear them out afterward. Unfortunately, they're pretty much all gone now, at least from WalMart and places like that.

There's a new set coming out though, under the Nerf brand, but with no scopes or shot blast or tv game. not sure when it hits shelved, though

  • dude, my friend has these

  • do they stil sell the ops guns in store? i'm from oz so i don no
