You are correct and you would be surprised to know that I personally knew Rev. Marvin Arnold and preached in his church just one year before he died! Some of the material in this video came from his book that you mentioned. He did come out with a revised version that updated the outline up to the year 2000, I spent a good solid week at his home with him and his wife. He actually had the book verified for accuracy about the history by Catholics in the USA.
Religion should NOT be about brainwashing or HYPNOTIZING people into complete submission and then CONTROLLING every aspect of a persons life down to what they wear, how long their hair is, what time their CURFEW is. I used to be a oneness believer but there were many scriptures that forced me to come out of that belief one if which is Hebrews 1:2 because it puts the Son at the time of creation and says through the Son God made the Universe. Oneness and Trinitarians both believe that Christ created the Universe but the problem for the oneness doctrine when it comes to Hebrews 1:2 is why would it say God made the Universe through Christ if he is the only person of God?

You did not watch the video or study it and it's resources enough to realize that the original form of Matthew 28:19 NEVER used the titles of father, son, or holy ghost in reference to baptism. Instead is was a later development created by the Catholic church. THAT is openly admitted by the Catholic church. BOTH Oneness and Trinitarian dogma are heresies because Jesus is not God, either by "substance" or "person". These theologies are actually the same, making "GOD" "three 'something'". Oneness teaches that God is three "substances", not "persons", and Trinitarians teach that God is three "persons" not "substances".

@Redmissionary I am an agnostic and I can answer that without bias. We can't deny that humans have never "talk to themselves" in their own mind of reconciliation. People make plans an Itinerary planner of their weekly schedules. There are ton's of videos that show how people do think out loud without opening their mouth. I use the expression "Let's see" almost daily when making choices and I am sure you do to. Back up to John 1:1 again to avoid Jesus praying to a Triune (God).

The title father and Son was used way before AD 100 as your video claims. It can be dated back to the late sixth century and is found in the old testament. Just because it wasn't used together like it is today doesn't make it invalid.

I truly understand the confusion trinitarians have over the deity of Jesus. I use to believe in the trinity until I started to STUDY the Bible on MY OWN and with prayer. For well over a year God kept showing me one thing in the Bible and that was that Jesus is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It was after I saw this that I learned about oneness and I was amazed that we had the same conclusion.

@Pentecostyes I understand. And they call themselves Christians, yet they are not Christ-like, which is what a Christian is. They say they are allowed to hate their enemies, yet Jesus taught to love them. Now I'm not saying this about every single Trinitarian because I know a few and they are very nice people. But a lot are not, and need to get their act straight soon because that Hate in them will cause them to march straight to Hell.
Pentecostyes has helped many people out inclusive of myself. I am not Pentecostal, Apostolic, nor Church of Christ, and yet I believe in Oneness or one God, Jesus name baptism, and the gifts of the spirit. I'm just so intertwined with all these studies and conversations, because I too used to think what the world thought about Pentecostals. I was an Atheist until God answered a prayer my mother and my church prayed in a Sunday morning service while I was miles away in a hospital.. God healed my mind, delivered me from severe depression. I woke up that same morning thinking differently, feeling differently, and my doctor's could not explain how fast my depression left me.

Baptism is part of his grace along with all the other grace written of in the book. It is your faith which has deliberately ignored the rest of the gospel through the centuries, not us.

I enjoy Mark 13:13 so much. Us Apostolic Christians are hated because we worship Jesus, or we preach Jesus is God manifest in the flesh, or we can't stop talking about Jesus, or so on and so on. The Bible also says to do all things in the NAME of Jesus. Scripture is done no injustice when issues relative to translation or insertion are addressed. The Lord God Jehovah inspired and spoke this wonderful book, but men have had their hands in the pie ever since. Truth is supported by Scripture. Even when the enemy triues to distort, he cannot. For truth will shine through, as in the case of Matt 28:19. But simple minds lacking discernment and revelation become confused. In these instances, a deeper, historical argument may help.

A very compelling video and one I agree with wholeheartedly with a small exception. I must warn against ever casting a shadow upon scripture. Rather than "fix" Matt 28:19, one-God believers need to be proud of it as among the most revelatory passages we have. For in the preceding verse, Jesus explains "All power is given unto me in heaven and earth". This fully empowers the command which follows, "Go ye, THEREFORE..." This shows Jesus IS the name of the Father, Son & Holy Ghost!!

You are correct and you would be surprised to know that I personally knew Rev. Marvin Arnold and preached in his church just one year before he died! Some of the material in this video came from his book that you mentioned. He did come out with a revised version that updated the outline up to the year 2000, I spent a good solid week at his home with him and his wife. I used to be a oneness believer but there were many scriptures that forced me to come out of that belief one if which is Hebrews 1:2 because it puts the Son at the time of creation and says through the Son God made the Universe. Oneness and Trinitarians both believe that Christ created the Universe but the problem for the oneness doctrine when it comes to Hebrews 1:2 is why would it say God made the Universe through Christ if he is the only person of God?

Instead is was a later development created by the Catholic church. THAT is openly admitted by the Catholic church. BOTH Oneness and Trinitarian dogma are heresies because Jesus is not God, either by "substance" or "person". These theologies are actually the same, making "GOD" "three 'something'". Oneness teaches that God is three "substances", not "persons", and Trinitarians teach that God is three "persons" not "substances".
The truth is that GOD is ONE and is the FATHER ALONE. Jesus Christ is His Son, who DIED (a thing GOD could not do), and was raised to life by the ONLY ONE WHO GIVES LIFE, GOD.

People make plans an Itinerary planner of their weekly schedules. There are ton's of videos that show how people do think out loud without opening their mouth. I use the expression "Let's see" almost daily when making choices and I am sure you do to. Back up to John 1:1 again to avoid Jesus praying to a Triune (God).

It is idiotic to say that the Bible does not support a trinitarian view of God simply because it doesn't use the word "Trinity." The Trinity is clearly supported by scripture, both in Jesus' words:
John 10:30 "I and my Father are one."
And his apostles:
I John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

Just wondering why the emphasis on baptism, you are not saved by the work of Jesus AND baptism - Baptism is merely an outward sign of an inward work, it is symbolic and not mystical. You sound dangerously like the Jews who attempted to bring people in the early church under the OT law (read Galatians). The title father and Son was used way before AD 100 as your video claims. It can be dated back to the late sixth century and is found in the old testament. Just because it wasn't used together like it is today doesn't make it invalid.

I truly understand the confusion trinitarians have over the deity of Jesus. I use to believe in the trinity until I started to STUDY the Bible on MY OWN and with prayer. For well over a year God kept showing me one thing in the Bible and that was that Jesus is the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It was after I saw this that I learned about oneness and I was amazed that we had the same conclusion.

Jesus speaks of building His Church in Mathew 16:16-20, 33AD(aprox). Oneness Pentecostals started in 1914, 1881 yrs after Jesus built His One Church. So, that eliminates the Oneness Pentecostals as the Church Jesus built...No where in the Bible does it say that Christians referred to themselves as Pentecostals. Why not go back to the original source - the Bible - rather than the traditions of men, and study it for yourself - you will find that not one single baptism in the whole Bible was ever performed in the titles - ie "In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit" (By the way the word translated here as "and" can be equally translated as "even".

@Pentecostyes I understand. And they call themselves Christians, yet they are not Christ-like, which is what a Christian is. They say they are allowed to hate their enemies, yet Jesus taught to love them. Now I'm not saying this about every single Trinitarian because I know a few and they are very nice people. But a lot are not, and need to get their act straight soon because that Hate in them will cause them to march straight to Hell.

Pentecostyes has helped many people out inclusive of myself. I am not Pentecostal, Apostolic, nor Church of Christ, and yet I believe in Oneness or one God, Jesus name baptism, and the gifts of the spirit. We all must be very careful to neither add or detract from the word of God (Matt 4:4/Rev22:18-19). If people would only take the word of God and use it alone instead of traditions as Jesus told us all to do so, they would see the truth. Thanks again, Pente. May God bless us all now and always.

What I think it is, is that they don't agree with our beliefs, but they don't agree with what the Bible says. As Christians, we are to be reflecting what the Bible teaches, whether it makes us comfortable or not. How did the Pharisee's react when Jesus healed and delivered people? It made them uncomfortable. It wasn't what we call "normal". And so many churches today teach only what people want to hear. You can't just say a prayer and your saved. Scripture disproves it many times. God bless.

I'm just so intertwined with all these studies and conversations, because I too used to think what the world thought about Pentecostals. I was an Atheist until God answered a prayer my mother and my church prayed in a Sunday morning service while I was miles away in a hospital.. God healed my mind, delivered me from severe depression. I woke up that same morning thinking differently, feeling differently, and my doctor's could not explain how fast my depression left me.

Baptism is just the begining of the new life in Christ and one needs to continue in the faith for salvation. Grace is part of if.
The rebirth experience through baptism in Jesus name and baptism of the Holy Ghost is required and required by scripture.
Baptism in Christ's name for the remission of sins is one of the biggest acts of grace that God has given us and you belittle it as not needed.

Baptism is part of his grace along with all the other grace written of in the book. It is your faith which has deliberately ignored the rest of the gospel through the centuries, not us.
You would have to call Peter a liar to say that baptism does not save a person.
God told Peter to write, "baptism now saves us."

Like it or not they always baptized in the name of the Lord, which is Jesus.
Acts 8:16 ... only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Acts 10: 48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord.
19:5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.
AND Romans 6:3, Galatians 3:27, Colossians 2:12, 1 Peter 3:2.

It's funny that the people who baptize in the name of Jesus are the only ones who also claim the desciples as members of the first church! Trinitarians claim that their "churches" came about at a later date. But our church, and the first message ever preached started in Acts.
If God and Jesus have 2 seperate bodies like trinitarians say, then God is a coward!
But if Jesus is God, then we see that God didn't send someone in His place, but that He died for us himself! What a revelation!

You disregard James 2:15-26 which states faith must accompany works.Hebrews 11:1-40 restates this.Acts 2:38 states everyone must by belief repent, and be baptized in the name of Jesus for the forgiveness of sins.From Acts 2-22 all baptisms were only in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.He alone holds all saving power-Mat28:18&Acts4:12.We want you saved God's way!

I enjoy Mark 13:13 so much. Us Apostolic Christians are hated because we worship Jesus, or we preach Jesus is God manifest in the flesh, or we can't stop talking about Jesus, or so on and so on. The Bible also says to do all things in the NAME of Jesus. That includes baptism, repentance, worship, praise, live, spread the Gospel, receive the Holy Ghost, use Spiritual gifts, teach, preach, ect ect, all in Jesus' name.

I also have had some folks of other faiths treat me well and be kind, but when it came to solid Acts 2:38 doctrine and all that goes with it the masks fall off.

I hear ya'. And the thing that get's me is I don't hate them. Sometimes I just get frustrated because I can see the truth and they can't, but I would never hate anyone. Yeah, I've had a hard time forgiving people before.. But I believe that's normal. I firmly believe in "Hate the sin, love the sinner" and "Love your enemies." But I've never received the same from other "christians", and it took me a while to accept it because of Mark 13:13.

Scripture is done no injustice when issues relative to translation or insertion are addressed. The Lord God Jehovah inspired and spoke this wonderful book, but men have had their hands in the pie ever since. Truth is supported by Scripture. Even when the enemy triues to distort, he cannot. For truth will shine through, as in the case of Matt 28:19. But simple minds lacking discernment and revelation become confused. In these instances, a deeper, historical argument may help.

material. It does come accross clear to the Oneness Pentecostal mind which is free of clutter. It confronts the trinity head on and dispells the myth while some of them refuse to understand. Others remain in confusion by choice if you ask me. LOL.

Again, I agree. As one born and raised in the "trinity" dogma, I know the brainwashing that goes into this doctrine. People are made to believe that any recognition of the need for baptism in Jesus' name is denial of the "truth" o9f salvation by "faith alone" which was a misun derstanding of Scripture which Martin Luther offered as an extreme response to the RC teaching of salvation through works/sacraments, which was so often exploiied for profit. Truth is available to those who desire it.

A very compelling video and one I agree with wholeheartedly with a small exception. I must warn against ever casting a shadow upon scripture. Rather than "fix" Matt 28:19, one-God believers need to be proud of it as among the most revelatory passages we have. For in the preceding verse, Jesus explains "All power is given unto me in heaven and earth". This fully empowers the command which follows, "Go ye, THEREFORE..." This shows Jesus IS the name of the Father, Son & Holy Ghost!!

Amen!!! There is no other church that I personally know, other than the Apostolic Pentecostal church, that baptizes in Jesus' name. And that's how the Apostle's baptized, was in Jesus' name! Without a relationship with Jesus Christ, a real one, He will say in the White Throne Judgement "I NEVER KNEW YOU". People call us the Jesus Only folk. Amen. If we truly don't know Jesus, how then can we cling to Him? He did things that the pharisee's said only God could do. He even said Himself that He and the Father are One, meaning the same. He was God manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels and preached unto the Gentiles. He claimed to be equal to God, while God said there is no other God beside Him. And through the Holy Spirit we can say Jesus is LORD (YHWH).
