Why are you redlining you car when its clearly not fully warmed up yet? Your warning lights are on the rpm meter telling you not to redline. Do you just not care?

there is a yellow bar between 6500-7000 which is just a warning rev limiter

but actual fuel cuts off at 7000

the yellow bar doesnt go away

its kind of like a warning or more like a suggested shifting rpm zone for max performance i guess

but the car is fully warmed up.

I think you'll find this is an M5, firstly it has got the rev limiting warning lights around the rpm guage (which only the M5's have) and also the oval wingmirrors. :-)

Why do you even post comments if you have no idea what you're talking about?

The 528 would be nowhere near as fast and hasn't got a V8, and the 540 doesn't rev to 7k rpm. Besides, both cars have completely different rev counters to the M5.

Get a BMW first or at least drive one if you want to start talking any sense about them.
