Steve Jobs is a BIG part of Pixar, who made Wall-E. The Powermac 9600 was his favorite sound, so that's why Wall-E's cell bongs when it's finished charging. As long as Apple is under Steve Jobs, we probably won't see another bong for a while. :)

Unfortunately the picture you show with the Power Macintosh 6100 is actually not a Power Macintosh 6100. It's a member of the 7200/7300/7500/7600 line, or an early G3.

Good luck on a TAM. Only 12,000 were made. They can't run OSX, but if you want one for the nostalgia factor, it will likely set you back around $4k or so if you're lucky enough to find one on ebay. You'd be better off going after the G4 Cube if you want something for a collector's piece. At least it can be upgraded enough to run Leopard and most other modern apps. Then you could appreciate it for the collector's value and get some use out of it before it is completely obsolete.
