Although a good basic kata it is not Gekisai. Give it its' own name. When the two masters Funakoshi and Miyagi first brought the art from Okinawa to mainland Japan they sometimes called it Karate Kempojutsu(jitsu) so I don't know why some people are having a go at you. The old masters changed the name of the art from T'ang Hand to Empty Hand.

first off the kata is wrong, in all ways, ts not goju anymore nor is it kenpo, kenpo is chinese art and karate has some origin from it but they different and not to be compared or combined or confused as being the same,
your blocks are open handed , which is wrong, practice the kata by doing the kata, practice makes permanent not perfect, perfect practice makes perfect, so start off by doing the kata right and doint chage the kata while having past masters on your wall

Interesting variation. I see the value of stationary practice, but am curious as to the reasoning behing the changes to the actual kata technique. Can you elaborate?
