  • This is absolutely wrong. If you play this back in mono like they sometimes do in concerts and clubs, you will have phase problems and it will sound totally different from what you hear in stereo. Awful tutorial.

  • i guess the acting work is dried up for ol' justin long so he decided to become an engineer.nicee

  • "KILLER COMBO" !

  • love you mon, really work for me....

  • this looks like ableton

  • buddy, nominal level isnt 0, its -12.

  • These videos are really helpful. Thanks so much.

  • The voice is SOOOOO boring

  • @philmusic75 Did you come to this video to educate yourself or to be entertained by a sports commentator? I don't think his purpose is to be a wacky radio DJ if that's what you were looking for.

  • false alarm. this didnt help my vocals at all.

  • omg i ve been trying to figure this out for so long Justin omg thank you sooo much

  • thank you! Never heard of this technique before!

  • Isn't that the same as just EQ'ing the original signal??

If we flip the phase and apply a Low Pass Filter, that means that we'll be substracting the low frequencies, isn't it?

I don't see the "stereo" point in this technique, further than lowering the Low Freqs

But thanks anyway, ideas like that make people think of new possibilities!

  • doesnt this thing have a stereo imager like reason?

  • i think you're program output was in mono so it basically defeats the purpose of this STEREO imaging tutorial. haha no worries, it's not that serious, but i was kind of disappointed.

  • Great tip. Thanks a lot for sharing.
