@MrDanielTynan By your comment I already know that you're not a traceur. NOBODY trains parkour so they can outrun someone. And Parkour isn't applied only to SUBURBAN/URBAN setting. You can go to the desert/the woods, etc.
assassins creed brought me here the more I play it the more I want to learn this movements maybe is hard at the beginning but sooner will be easy this is the sport i been looking for, fuck wrestling Olympics I want this sport >:)
where did you go for lessons? im in glasgow ( well a small western town outside of glasgow but nevermind) and im looking for like classes to start, i wanna use Parkour to get both my mind and body in shape
nice work Zeno :) loved the high wall jump. I've been trying to get in touch with you about possibly doing some filming with you for a documentary but not sure if my pm got to you or if I should be contacting you guys through the main parkour site , just give me a shout back with the best contact method if you get a chance :)
How do you do the climb where the wall is twice your height?
My bro told me that when you jump at it, you use your arm muscle to push yourself up, is that correct? or is there some tricks behind it because I simply can't manage it...
yes it indeed would!! but the problem there would be people with physical disadvatages... like born weakness (im not even sure if there's anything named that :P)
Yes, and if it was an everyday accepted thing by everyone, then that means that you would begin learning it as a child, and so it would be pretty natural.. like talking and walking... If only the world was like that... :'(
instead of driving tests parkour tests :L id enjoy it more but the accident rate? and not everyone would be as physically fit as the next person. enjoyable yes, practical no. :)
@Animexguyx thats actually a really meaningful sentance for a minute there i pictured a world without guns or cars but parkour and martial arts am gonna screen shot it and put it in my next video thx for the enlightment man
Guys this stuff is good, anyone who says this is not hard is complete fool who dosnn't do this himself. This is parkoour, the flips and fancy jumps are in street running which is useless, imagine an alien trying to get you, will you show off with flips or try to get from point A to B as fast as you can at maximum efficiency?
agreed. flashy isn't always better. it's efficiency and accuracy that count. parkour is to this sport as jeet kun do is to martial arts. cut out the fat and get to the meat of the sport. amazing video btw. keep up the great work.
this is parkour. don't let anybody say it's not. this is great because it's not filled with a bunch of flips off tall stuff. Compare flips in parkour to dragonforce. it's cool for the first time, but then it just gets obnoxious. props on the video, it's cool
everyone whos says this sucks and this isnt parkour are idiots, parkour isnt just jumping from buildings you work your way up, the definition for parkour isn't 'jump off high things and jump from building to building' no parkour is "fluency in movement to inhance capability to move" and this is a great video
u guys are good but ya didnt do any thing risky and dangerous like do something high on a roof top or jumping edge to edge high up the only risky thing i saw was 2:56
I saw you outside the Uni library one day when I was in first year. Jumping the rail to the wall near the round reading room. Pretty impressive. You should try down at the Boyd Orr building. Some good stuff down there.
Iv'e always wondered, is there a move where you actually wall-RUN across a wall? As in clearing a distance along the width of a wall, not the height. If there is, how can you train for that?
i generally just keep trying it, but one time i actually started going in an arc, and managed to get about 6 steps. so yeah, i would say just keep trying

Yes use your arms, but also your foot that makes first with the wall should be at least waist height or higher.
TraceurZeno 2 years ago
oh ok, tx
so mainly all i need to do is train my arm and leg strength... even more...
damn... x)

Freerunning is part of Parkour! Even David Belle said that.
It's 'bout being able to controll yourself in every possible situation - that's why it's part of Parkour ;)

SelenaJUSbeinHERSELF 3 years ago
I have seen guys run 3-4 steps along a wall.
My only advice is practice 2-3 steps on a small wall, until you perfect the speed, angles, footplacement etc.
Then increase the size of over distance covered and number of steps through time.
Train well Bro
