  • Anyone know some good shoes for parkour? Im a begginer with a passion for the sport. I always watched but never tried it for myself.

  • @redron213 Nike Free's during winter and Kelenji's or Nike Darts for summer

  • @redron213 i use ariake by K-swiss

  • Parkour is great training for outrunning anybody in a suburban setting

  • @MrDanielTynan By your comment I already know that you're not a traceur. NOBODY trains parkour so they can outrun someone. And Parkour isn't applied only to SUBURBAN/URBAN setting. You can go to the desert/the woods, etc.

  • assassins creed brought me here the more I play it the more I want to learn this movements maybe is hard at the beginning but sooner will be easy this is the sport i been looking for, fuck wrestling Olympics I want this sport >:)

  • very clean Parkour, you've done well for yourself, great work.

  • this is awesome

  • I've read parkour is like an art. =)

  • Love your videos :D

  • do you set the camera up and record by yourself? i know you wont reply, but no harm in trying. :')

  • @redbullHUNT yes on a tripod

  • Everytime I watch this I think "Man, this guy would be great at evading the police." haha

  • agilissimo!!bravo!!!

  • hey dude that's not really good u can do more

  • where did you go for lessons? im in glasgow ( well a small western town outside of glasgow but nevermind) and im looking for like classes to start, i wanna use Parkour to get both my mind and body in shape

  • you are sooo good man

  • @hottopic789 this is parkour

  • wat he dos is parkour

  • nice work Zeno :) loved the high wall jump. I've been trying to get in touch with you about possibly doing some filming with you for a documentary but not sure if my pm got to you or if I should be contacting you guys through the main parkour site , just give me a shout back with the best contact method if you get a chance :)

  • @GDFVIDEO Hi just message me here on Youtube, cheers

  • zeno ur my personal hero man, thx for uploading this its awesome,im training and trying to get better in traceur ,greets from Belgium respect

  • zeno ur my personal hero man, thx for uploading this its awesome,im training and trying to get better in traceur ,greets from Belgium respect

  • Nice flow at 5:09 to 5:25

  • Nice flow at 5:09 to 5:25

  • Ok, this is just BRILLIANT. THIS is real parkour. Just speed and focus. No flips, twists, ect, only one goal. to get around as fast as possible.

  • verry good mam ;)

  • Well done man, awesome power and coordination in movements ;)

  • How do you do the climb where the wall is twice your height?

My bro told me that when you jump at it, you use your arm muscle to push yourself up, is that correct? or is there some tricks behind it because I simply can't manage it...

  • Yes use your arms, but also your foot that makes first with the wall should be at least waist height or higher.

  • oh ok, tx

so mainly all i need to do is train my arm and leg strength... even more...

    damn... x)

  • gotta make sure u get a good plant on ur first foot. practice it a lot and ull get the hang of it.

im only 5'9" but i can get up 13ft walls :D

  • it takes alot of practice but you run and go into a kick motion but push up at the same time

  • @no1uwanttoknow there are no tricks behind parkour only hard trraining, dude.

  • Nice! I enjoyed watching. Quality urban/natural spots. Well done. Keep it up.

  • it's good to see that people still do parkour and not think that freerunning is parkour, very nice technique, keep up the great training. Peace

  • Freerunning is part of Parkour! Even David Belle said that.

It's 'bout being able to controll yourself in every possible situation - that's why it's part of Parkour ;)

  • Cool! nice spots! good job!

  • Buddy I Dont Know How You Do This

But You Have my Admiration and Medal of Honor

    Congratulations (!)

  • haha Glasgow1-4Unirea I live in ROmania and you is good traceur

  • wow, it's like...

    almost impressive.

  • where r good places in glasgow for parkour

  • Rottenrow in the city center is ideal Stephen. Also google "Glasgow Parkour" and join the forum for info.

    Train well

  • How long have you been doing parkour ?

I subscribed cause all your vids are awesome:D

  • god i wish there were locations like that where i live.

  • buena

  • you're the man

  • i think you need some basic parkour for running away and shit lol..

  • but his basics are pretty good!

  • 2:30 great !!!

  • bravo 5\5

  • great video, where are those stone ruins at in glasgow that come up 5 mins into it??

  • Eglinton Country Park, Ayrshire.

  • Comment removed

  • You're pretty good! Are you doing it all alone? :O

    5/5

  • Loved the high wall grab. good work.

  • sorry mate but the vid is boring and your skills are lame

  • If people used Parkour and Martial arts instead of Cars and Guns. The world would be a better place

  • yes it indeed would!! but the problem there would be people with physical disadvatages... like born weakness (im not even sure if there's anything named that :P)

but i think you get the picture

  • Yes, and if it was an everyday accepted thing by everyone, then that means that you would begin learning it as a child, and so it would be pretty natural.. like talking and walking... If only the world was like that... :'(

  • The world is what you make it.

  • instead of driving tests parkour tests :L id enjoy it more but the accident rate? and not everyone would be as physically fit as the next person. enjoyable yes, practical no. :)

  • And it would look so cool :P

  • @Animexguyx thats actually a really meaningful sentance for a minute there i pictured a world without guns or cars but parkour and martial arts am gonna screen shot it and put it in my next video thx for the enlightment man

  • you are really good

  • awesome vid. whats the first song?? i subscribed :) where is glasgow anyway??

  • you are kidding?? right??

  • you know, when you look at videos like this it makes you think its almost like the world was made just for parkour

  • i know exactly what you mean!

  • the part at the train station was sweet :) great vid

  • awsome video bro

  • Where abouts is most of this filmed ?

    Good Video ;) 5*

  • Most of it was in Glasgow.

  • Guys this stuff is good, anyone who says this is not hard is complete fool who dosnn't do this himself. This is parkoour, the flips and fancy jumps are in street running which is useless, imagine an alien trying to get you, will you show off with flips or try to get from point A to B as fast as you can at maximum efficiency?

  • agreed. flashy isn't always better. it's efficiency and accuracy that count. parkour is to this sport as jeet kun do is to martial arts. cut out the fat and get to the meat of the sport. amazing video btw. keep up the great work.

  • Some people enjoy tricking, while others stick just to what Parkour really is ... beauty and flow.

  • ye i totally agree, freerunning is cool. but its more like dancing or sumthing, parkour is precise and pourposefull. i like the alien comment lol.

  • this is parkour. don't let anybody say it's not. this is great because it's not filled with a bunch of flips off tall stuff. Compare flips in parkour to dragonforce. it's cool for the first time, but then it just gets obnoxious. props on the video, it's cool

  • wow...nice ruins there

  • what brand of shoes, and what model if you dont mind me asking?

  • Shoes I like to wear for Parkour are

Nike Darts, Nike Free's v5 & Kelenji Sucess

  • everyone whos says this sucks and this isnt parkour are idiots, parkour isnt just jumping from buildings you work your way up, the definition for parkour isn't 'jump off high things and jump from building to building' no parkour is "fluency in movement to inhance capability to move" and this is a great video

    good job on the video

  • everyone who says this sucks and it isnt parkour,

you are all on crack, this is how david belle started and shit, im sure he did just start jumping buildings, its called training

  • how many broken bones?

  • none, it is about knowing your ability.

  • im better :P

  • parkour is better its alot faster and more risk taking this stuff sucks

  • So this would be one year into your training... I wonder where I will be towards the end of my first year...

  • i like this nice very nice

  • u guys are good but ya didnt do any thing risky and dangerous like do something high on a roof top or jumping edge to edge high up the only risky thing i saw was 2:56

  • Parkour is not roof jumping... neither is parkour taking risks...

  • you don't need 2 do "risky" stuff to do parkour

  • dude remember parkour isnt about dangerous and risky stuff remember risky stuff may look cool but its not what its about

  • this stuff sucks parkour is alot better

  • Great video...I can only do this on Mirrors Edge!

  • That is excellent man. Makes Glasgow looks a lot brighter too! Inspiring stuff

  • that huge wall climb was bloody amazin

  • holy crappp this is crazy. when did u start?

  • The 7th of June 2006 and still training.

  • orite man hows it goin your pretty smooth!im from edinburgh do u still do parkour in glasgow??

  • yeah man

  • I love this vid! its so flowfull and clean :D

  • 2:28 to 2:36 was amazing

  • I saw you outside the Uni library one day when I was in first year. Jumping the rail to the wall near the round reading room. Pretty impressive. You should try down at the Boyd Orr building. Some good stuff down there.

  • I train all over the uni, but thanks for your suggestion, it is appreciated!

    Zeno

  • when do you graduate from traceur

  • you never graduate, you can never master everthing, but try your best to adapt and keep on challenging yourself, this will make you a decent Traceur.

  • Awesome stuff, jus started Parkour myself, me and a few friends train together, your flow is a huge inspiration!

  • great vid

  • any tips for a beginner?

  • On my main youtube page you should see a link to my blog, there is lots of info on it my friend.

  • very good, how long have u been training?

  • When this video was made I had been training for 12 months. At the present I have been training just over 2.5 years.

    Cheers

    Zeno

  • you have progressed very nice in a year :)

  • great great great watch my video:D

  • Very good form on the Tack at 2:43. Very fluid through out the entire video. Very nice work!

  • Iv'e always wondered, is there a move where you actually wall-RUN across a wall? As in clearing a distance along the width of a wall, not the height. If there is, how can you train for that?

  • I have seen guys run 3-4 steps along a wall.

My only advice is practice 2-3 steps on a small wall, until you perfect the speed, angles, footplacement etc.

Then increase the size of over distance covered and number of steps through time.

    Train well Bro

    Zeno

  • i generally just keep trying it, but one time i actually started going in an arc, and managed to get about 6 steps. so yeah, i would say just keep trying

  • great!

  • how do you train for that wall run? its great!

    (at 1.31)

  • Start off with a small wall, and work up to bigger walls and so on...

  • lmao <.<

    I mean did u do some plyos?(plyomatrics)

and when did you start to train your wall run?;o

  • where in glasgow is that? i wanna train in parkour or free running but the place i stay isnt great for it :( and i want professional guidance so i dont injure my self severely

  • Google "Glasgow Parkour"

We train all over Glasgow and ocassionally various parts of Edinburgh and London too.

  • Wow, these videos must be great motivation for progressing for you. What's the name of the French Song?

  • Zeno how can you leave your cam lieing in mary hill unless someones filming for you lmao =]

  • lol

  • but aswome vidoe non the less =D

  • Cheers mate its an old video now, but still part of my history.

Maybe see you around Glasgow if your out and about.

    Zeno

  • yea man see you around

  • dude shut the fuck up and don't be so cheaky.

zeno is an excellent traceur i was at trace and people from Australia knew who he was who the fuk knows u???

  • any tips on working on balance? any mental exercises you do that helps? meditation? anything?

  • Start off on small rails, walls etc. And practice everyday.

The best way to get good at anything is repetition my friend.

  • Watched all the way through that, your my idol. I really need to build my upper muscles im having problems with climbing and im having problems not rolling on grass.
