  • Nobody else stood in line with him

  • Lots of strident tone here.

Saludos.

  • @Mooorhe Dear Dopehead, I think that you are deaf or retarded!!!

  • nemorino gli si addice di piu

  • yeah we still love you :-)

  • Amazing.

  • For sure, he was by far the best of his fach.

Bravo Maestro! We still love you!

    :)

  • Beautiful - just beautiful! I have this operatic production on video and just love it.

  • The most remarkable tenor of our lifetime. Bravo, Maestro. Wonderful acting, and the MOST amazing voice ever.

  • While Pavarotti is good here, he has sung this aria better. I'm a great Pavarotti fan, but i find his high notes are a little strained here...it's quite possible he was ill at the time. The expression he conveys in this aria is incredible though.

  • Yes, in the 1991's version he is better (for me).

  • very beautfiul singing and luciano pavarotti is very beautiful here, i love him so much. BRAVO.

  • The voice was so dark by this time, and had sufficient weight for the role, even though it was centered fairly low. I love hearing him sing this music.

  • Pavarotti in excellent clear voice, and his trademark sensual phrasing. Very good indeed, even though Manrico was always at the limits of his dramatic voice. Check out the young Carlo Bergonzi in this role - his was probably the best, most sustained, most Verdian rendition.

  • Hi, I beg to over another opine- Mario Del Monaco was a tremendous Manrico. At least on his London recording of the role.
