Roland, one of their two lead vocalists left the band because he didn't like the direction the music was being taken. So they recruited Nathan, the new vocalist. But Robin (one of their guitarists) as well as Nuclear Blast records forced them to continue making their music very mainstream. Its not Nathan's fault, he just wanted to help. But most people jump to conclusions anyway, like a bunch of sheep.

The new album is OK...but, it will never compare to the original crew. Did you ever notice how you almost never heard them drop a curse in most songs, then the new album hits, and theres at least 2 in every song? This new album falls into the category Black Veil Brides and Asking Alexandria fall into, whatever sad categorization that is. Thank god for the Unguided

So Roland left and created The Unguided. He plays guitar in that band. The drummer, the other guitarist of SS, and the other lead vocalist, Richard, joined too. Karin and Robin are focusing on college now, so SS is pretty much dead now. They have a music video up for "Phoenix Down", by the way.
