There is no scientific reason 2 believe these comets will herald war or cause destruction beyond correlative coincidence. An asteroid just recently passed earth with doomsayers asserting gloom & doom, & nothing happened. Comets & asteroids are continually passing through the solar system & flying near the earth. The preacher guy around the 6:00 mark had several years totally wrong.... Halley's comet showed up in 1986 not 1988; the 1st Gulf War was in 1991; and Hale-Bopp event was around spring 1997.

i was doing some research on comets and found some information that was different than what was said in this video. he claims that haley's comet passed by us in 88 and four years later there was the persian gulf war. but all the info that I've come across says that it was actually 1986. the comet has an orbit of 75-76 years. I am not saying that comets don't affect us but just that there is some misinfo here.

@firecharger No, The great Tribulation begins with the destrution of Jerusalem and the tribulaion will last for 3.5 years. This is more certain than looking for 7-year peace agreements.
The assumption that 7 years of tribulation will perfectly overlay a 7 year covenant is convenient, but not scriptural. Jesus said that BOTH these events will be SHORTENED (Matthew 24:22 / Daniel 9:27) thus NEITHER event conforms to a 7 year period of time in the first place. Our "dispensational clocks" are appealing to us because (unlike both Noah and Elijah who were *told* of their respective "end dates)" we like to think that we can “figure it out.”

There is no scientific reason 2 believe these comets will herald war or cause destruction beyond correlative coincidence. An asteroid just recently passed earth with doomsayers asserting gloom & doom, & nothing happened. Comets & asteroids are continually passing through the solar system & flying near the earth. It's not hard to find a coincidence & suggest the flyby caused it . I pooped during the flyby. Was it gravitational pull or solar alignment that caused it? Or is that just a coincidence?

The preacher guy around the 6:00 mark had several years totally wrong.... Halley's comet showed up in 1986 not 1988; the 1st Gulf War was in 1991; and Hale-Bopp event was around spring 1997.
I had no problem with the info, but I have to doubt the rest of his years too, because it sounds like, while he was told much of this info, he wrote his speech without doing the easy research.
Enthusiasm for this subject is great, and this is a great video otherwise, but the preacher was just wrong.

i was doing some research on comets and found some information that was different than what was said in this video. he claims that haley's comet passed by us in 88 and four years later there was the persian gulf war. but all the info that I've come across says that it was actually 1986. the comet has an orbit of 75-76 years. I am saying that all of the events in the bible must come to pass and to feel safe in the Lord, in Jesus Christ. I grew up in a Penetecostal church and my father was a minister. idahopaula , my dear, many of the prophetic signs are easy to figure out if U know where to find any descriptions of the same events being described. GOD did not write the Bible so that we are kept in the dark about what HE Predicts. In fact GOD told Israel that HE gave Faith would be stronger in HIS WORD. So U need to take a 2nd look at these prophecies & search for their meanings in other parts of the Bible. Read some books by folks whose doctrine is like yours that you can trust.

It also means that Christ will return on a day when He is not expected to come, A thiefs visit is unexpected.So If we see an antichrist making a covenant at the beging of a 7 yr period, then at the 3.5 year mark he stops all offerings and sacrifices then in another 3,5 years is the day of the Lord, but this interpretaion would make the thief verse either false because we would know the exact day or is only directed at the unsaved because the saved will b raptured and not here to see any of this

The assumption that 7 years of tribulation will perfectly overlay a 7 year covenant is convenient, but not scriptural. Jesus said that BOTH these events will be SHORTENED (Matthew 24:22 / Daniel 9:27) thus NEITHER event conforms to a 7 year period of time in the first place. Our "dispensational clocks" are appealing to us because (unlike both Noah and Elijah who were *told* of their respective "end dates)" we like to think that we can “figure it out.”

@firecharger No this is the first 3.5 years of the tribulation, or the first 3.5 years of Daniel's 70 week. prophecy. The last 3.5 years is the Beast's full authority, that's when it's poured out and The Great tribulation starts. Meaning late 2012 or early 2013. The 2 witnesses aren't on scene until the Great trib. starts and they prophecy for 1260 days. All the things you mentioned haven't occured buddy. We are in the beginning of the birth pangs. You'll see in due time.

Because immediately after the witnesses are raptured in that same hour in REV 11:12 a great earthquake and a 10th part of the city falls and 7000 die then 7 trumpets begin to sound
It doesnt make sense that the previous 6 trumpets sounded in the first half the first 3.5 years because this is the time of peace until the middle when he stops the sacrifice and oblation then all the seals and trumpets

My friend, what matters is that you are ready for "paralambano" (early rapture, Matthew 25:1-13) which is the Father's will for each one of his children. Most professing christians will enter into Great Tribulation because they did not satisfy Luke 21:36 and Revelation 2:21. The outcome will be fulfillment of Matthew 22:14, Revelation 2:22-23; and Revelation 7:14. Read Amos 5:18-21.

God will not conform to our calendar analysis, my friend. If we could "look it up," then you could tell me when Jesus will come for His bride. I know these things because they were shown to me by divine revelation. The window of "paralambano" ( an early rapture) opens in the late winter of 2012, and closes during Spring. The Tribulation will conclude in the second half of 2016.

It doesnt say in Dan 9:27 who he will confirm the covenant with. It just says he confirms with many and in the middle of the week he stops the sacrifice and offering

Confirm--- to Support, Establish, and Strengthen.. It does not mean to Sign a document
Covenant-- relationship between him and his people
DAN9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease

@firecharger He was solemnly sworn in that day, and the things said in his speech are very interesting. Even stating at the end that the oath he took "is a sacred oath." He made promises and an agreement with many, not just our nation, but the world. It was the most viewed and celebrated presidential event in history to date which included MANY countries.
He even adlibbed "So help me God," in at the end of the oath which is NOT required or in the written oath.

@firecharger If you notice on the chart in your video it sept 2011 and it go to sept 2018. This is the same tthing I have been trying to tell you. From sept 28 2011(feast of trumpet) to sept 18 2018 (feast of atonment) there are 86 new moons and there are 2550 day in between these two jewish holiday, the same number of days in the trib. You threaten to block me over this. I now you show this chart exactly the same thing I been telling you.
