Strangeways was such a great album. I remember reading that all of the band members listed it as their favorite and this initially puzzled me. I thought it had some good songs and was better than the first one, but the two albums that preceded it I thought were more potent. So naturally I listened to it over and over and focused not only on the amazing lyrics( possibly some of Morrissey's best) but the composition of the songs is very complex.
