This is pretty typical for a female cat of any cat species to adopt non cats, especially if they have newborns or just lost newborns, it is also typical for male cats to kill baby cats that are not theirs to get the female in heat. I dont see why people have to make religious comments about this animals are fortunate in that they dont have to have their lives distorted by religious beliefs and imposing some concepts on them is ludicrous.
