  • I think it is Dan McGlaughlin of the Cards.

  • @ndyankee7 i think you're right

  • @stormtrooper86 it is, and hes a tv announcer this guy that put the video up is retarted

  • this is from a tv broadcast so of course it doesn't work without the visuals. they are being cunts by the way.

  • CLEARLY he's the worst announcer in all of baseball. Just no emotion whatsoever. I mean, how about this one?

    stlouisDOTcardinalsDOTmlbDOTcom/video/playDOTjsp?c_id=stl&content_id=19459495

  • Ho hum, clever video from a troll Cardinal hating poster. It's a fucking TV replay and only a dipshit of epic proportions would not understand that.

  • it was probably a replay

  • MESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • 37 pitches were up and just hammered...GOODNESS...

  • Favor the "Cairdnals" lol...follow @FakeDanMcLaughl on Twitter, he's hilarious. #ofcarse

  • 1) it was on TV. 2) it was the opponent hitting it. 3) this was highly likely a blowout at home. Sometimes announcers get as down as the fans do.

  • i didnt even know it was a homerun until 0:22

  • Wow that was bad, thats odd because

Mclaughlin is a real good broadcaster

  • pussy

  • wtf is this? i don't see no homerun.

  • This reminds me of the White Sox radio announcers.

  • Wow, why didn't you upload in 1080p!?!?!?!?! The FPS and Quality would make it so much better

  • This is Dan McLaughlin, and he calls the games on television. So, you could see the home run. TV announcers don't have to describe it.

  • it was on TV...you can hear the graphics sound effects in the background. It makes a big difference to know that you could see the play happening.

  • joe buck has more emotion!

  • hammered..... i guess that says it all

  • and you wonder why Mets fans are never excited...

  • @TheMadgenius25 Gary cohen is a LOT better than this.

  • @TheMadgenius25 this is the cardinals annoucers idiot

  • This is the kind of announcing that makes you wish there was a rewind button on the radio.

  • @iamzeroedin Ryan Church

  • I still think this is better than John Sterling.

  • u can hear the noise of the replay going on and off dipshit

  • you don't know it's a homerun until 15 seconds after he hit it.

  • dan mclaughlin is without a doubt the worst broadcaster in the history of broadcasting. He lets you know what the count is after and before every pitch. He makes you feel like your the smartest person in the whole world. And I swear to god, if he didn't have his stat book, then oh my god, his world would be over..... DIE DAN, DIE!!! LACES OUT!!!!!

  • This is a TV game not radio. Plus they've seen a lot farther homeruns from pujols lol

  • Listen to the sounds afterwards, you can hear the sound effects of logos and crap flying around...what happens on TV. This isn't a radio game, they don't have to describe every detail. It was likely a visiting player as well, so they're not going to go bananas over it.

  • so boring. people may hate john sterling (yankees announcer), but at least he shows energy when calling homers by the yankees and the teams they face.

  • This is a replay Im sure, but either way this hr call is done by Dan McLaughlin, announcer for the STL Cardinals. The HR was hit by the opposing team, so they obviously don't care. They also broadcast on FSN Midwest so if you were watching the game you were in STL being a Cards fan and probably not caring much about the call for the opposing team hr that you just witnessed anyway on tv.

  • @6ruggeri go cards!!!

  • lolol

  • This is a replay, you dont hear the fans cheering or groaning.

  • awful call

  • LOL.

  • i think this is a marlins announcer

  • uhhh why doesnt at least say that the ball is high far n gone like sterling

  • This is totally a replay.

  • This is Dan McLaughlin doing a Cardinals game. He definitely takes full advantage of the fact that fans see his broadcasts on TV, and listening to him as if your listening to him on radio exposes him for the sub par broadcaster that he is. One time I turned on an MLB.TV Cardinals game on a computer that lost it's ability to illuminate (I could see if I used a flashlight), and I could not follow the game to save my life when I relied on McLaughlin's play-by-play with no visual.

  • Sounds like you just ripped it off a tv broadcast

  • Not true... Any call by John Sterling is MUCH WORSE! Sometimes he calls HRs when they're warning track outs!

  • hahahahahahaha even if it wan't a replay you gotta admit it would be a hilarious homeriun call

  • it was a replay

  • Wow it was a replay u morons

  • it was on tv ...thats why you have eyes

  • its against the cubs you can hear the throw it back chant from the fans

  • @hearst747 Yeah cuz the cubs are TOTALLY the only team that does that... ROFL

  • prolly from the pirates or something

  • Yeah, that's NOT the worst homerun call ever... Have you not heard any of John Sterling's HR calls, especially the ones that he really flubs?!

  • if you watch games on TV you'll see this a lot. you wouldn't notice it when you're seeing it happen... and when it's the opposing team it's understandable

  • it's definately TV. it sounds like Josh Lewin and Tom Grieve for the Rangers. That would make them the opposing teams announcers and make this a SERIOUS Homer Call...

  • @kinsland47 Sounds nothing like Josh and Tag. Nothing at all.

  • gay

  • wtf they had to be looking at a replay

  • well, considering this was on tv(as you can tell by the background sounds of the thing that pops up on foxsports) they didnt need to say much because you can see it.

  • I think they were looking at a replay..

  • those are the cardinals announcers, joe buck and al hrabosky..2 of the best announcers in the league

  • That's not Joe Buck.

Even if it had been Joe Buck - he's the worst sports announcer in the world. He's more melodramatic than a fifteen year old girl.

  • @AHGastler my bad its Dan Mclaughlin, and i dont see why this is bad announcing when the opposing team hit the homerun.

  • You could tell it clearly was the announcer for the opposing team. He barely showed any expression.

  • I take it these are the OTHER teams announcers and not the announcers of the Mets.

I actually had to listen to it 3 times before I even knew anything had happened. Pathetic,

  • Man that was brutle.

Sounds like he was ill fow a few minutes.

  • this isnt a radio call, but it still sucks even with the visual

  • WTF was tht, sounds like tv tho cuz u could hear them go into the replay

  • this is almost as enthusiastic as dave neihaus. just kidding lol, dave neihaus is 100000x better than this

  • haha, this a radio call?

  • It sounds like Dan McLaughlin and Al "The Mad Hungarian" Hrabosky. They do the Cardinals broadcasts. I could be wrong, but that's exactly who it sounds like.

  • @jetrobertsdj it is. I have to put up with them to watch baseball out here in MO. He's a solid announcer, but kind of annoying at times...especially with stuff like this.

  • I thought it was pretty descriptive actually.. crack of bat, and announcer says, "this pictch is up and just HAMMERED...." pretty much means its a gonner, and the lack of words kinda adds to the effect of how far the ball went. pay attention people, that was a good call.

  • Thats what the white sox announcers do. No respect

  • i dont like to watch those games. they are boring. the announcers are too goddamn boring and so are the games.

  • What happened? I'm sorry I was sleeping!

  • TERIBLE

  • zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • it doesnt matter what kind of announcers these are, tv or radio, this is the shittiest call ive ever heeard, and i have heard john sterling so thats saying a lot

  • John Sterling is original. YOu hate him cuz youre jealous and you arent a yankee fan so shut your mouth bitch retard

  • not jealous of sterling at all, even yankeed fans cant stand him. the nicknames, overexaggerations, just everything is rediculous.

  • Agreed Voted Him ansd Suyzn Wauldamn voted worst radio announcers of the decade by Espn

  • Im a Yankkes fan and he's terrible

  • @Xeldominicano2k Im a die hard Yankee fan and i hate him

  • @Xeldominicano2k You're so profound there, bucko.....

  • It was a TV call. You don't need to be descriptive if you can see it.

  • I agree with you. It's obviously the away call for a regional TV station and the ball is blasted, so the visual is enough. A lot of retards love to watch their own words on a meaningless youtube thread....and the guy or gal who uploaded this needs to find something else to do with their time

  • who did this home run all? it's terrible.

  • Dan McLaughlin from Fox Sports Midwest.

  • @iamzeroedin Ryan Church

  • @iamzeroedin it's on TV...

  • @iamzeroedin Ryan Church

  • @iamzeroedin Ryan Church. Pretty obvious to me.
