  • GA Fan here....this is official, badass pregame..im jealous step up Redcoat Band

  • Go GOPHERS!!!!

  • tennessee>>>>alabama

pride of the southland>>>>>>million dollar band

    enough said

  • @2012UTvolunteer Come on out to Southern California and watch the greatest band of all time at SC. Also watch the Trojans and their great coach Lane Kiffin (who we took away from the Knoxturds) and watch what a true football team looks like. Also while you are in California, bring along Dooley with you so we can teach him how to count to eleven and not fourteen so the next time you play LSWHO you won't be embarrassed on national television again.

  • @greymoose1000 cheat cheat cheat cheat cheat

  • @gcox1993 Dooley cannot count! Dooley cannot count! Dooley cannot count!

  • @greymoose1000 sanctions.

  • @gcox1993 Dooley cannot count to eleven. Send him on out to California where the people value education and he will learn how to count correctly. Another factoid from the great and wise GREYMOOSE of USC.

  • @greymoose1000 wtf why do you comment on all the tennessee stuff on here holy shit dude really you got anything better to do damn who gives a fuck bout your trojans we dont go talk to other usc fans theyll actually give a shit damn dude

  • @secfootballfan94 The BCS and SEC are in collusion and that is why no one other than an SEC team wins the national championship. Southern California's Trojans and football are synonymous with excellence. Kiffin got wise when offered the chance and left Knoxturd ASAP!

  • @greymoose1000 if there soo good as you say why arent they in the national champison game every year?

  • @secfootballfan94 The SEC plays a cupcake out of conference schedule. UAT plays Kent State; LSWHO plays Jimmy Swaggart Bible College, and UT plays Knoxturd EAST HIGH every year.

  • Who needs the football game? Just watch the cheerleaders and the band. THEY can't lose.

  • wow, the band has better results on-field than the team!

  • Fight Vols Fight!!!

  • Alabama can't touch our tradition. Go Vols an we love you always. GO BIG ORANGE. COACH DOOLEY WELCOME TO BIG ORANGE COUNTRY.

  • Laugh Out Loud ... Were you just born ...

  • The SEC is a Tradition of one ... It is untouchable by any other conference ...

  • @PooPoo2U Once a Vol always a Vol thats the way it is here in Tennessee. Stfu. Go Vols . GO BIG ORANGE. We love our tradition don't worry about it. Better than bama anyday.

  • @orytina: that's not actually true either, as i took classes at UT and lived in northeast tennessee 15 years, and STILL hate them.

you can't even keep a coach there more than a year!

  • @PooPoo2U Im a UGA fan, but I hate stupidity. You say they cant keep a coach there for a year. Look up the name Phillip Fulmer!

  • @6xxxxxxxx9: i said they couldn't keep a coach there, which is true. never mentioned that they couldn't keep a fat guy around, because as any tennessean knows there's plenty of fried food to keep fulmer happy.

if you were going to try to make a reference, you shoulda gone with neylund, fulmer is a joke...

  • @PooPoo2U then whats the difference hahah

  • @PooPoo2U With a career record of 150-51, Tennessee fired the best thing to ever happen to that program. Tennessee didn't know what it was like to be consistent winners until Phil became head coach.

  • @PooPoo2U First off, I would like to point out that it is spelled NeyLAND! Don't mess with the General. Second, Tennessee has been playing football for almost 120 years, and we have had 22 football coaches. So if you take these last two off (kiffin and dooley), that's 118 years with 20 coaches. That's about 6 years a coach. So next time you open your mouth and try to burn a program as rich and productive as my orange clad gladiators, DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!!!!

    GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheMayor1991: all i need to know is that the SEC is the most competitive conference in the game, and ALABAMA has a winning record against every other team in it, both current and former.

if you're the best team in the best conference... i think you can finish the sentence.

  • @orytina: except saturdays in october right?

  • @PooPoo2U tennessee has more wins than any other college football program since 1935, you were saying what about bama?

plus if youre a bama fan why are you looking up tennessee videos

  • @charlieniehaus: hahahahaha. tennessee has a standing 783-333-53 all-time record, compared to alabama's (whose football program started a year AFTER UT's) 793-316-43 record. add to that an ncaa record 57 bowl appearances (as well as an ncaa record 31 bowl wins) an ncaa record 8 AP or coaches poll championships, an ncaa record 22 10-game win streaks and 16 seasons with a 10-0 start AND isn't behind in a series with any team that's ever been in the SEC.

  • @charlieniehaus: and let's not forget we also have 10 more conference titles, 9 more consensus all-americans, and are also the team that has produced the most super bowl-winning quarterbacks, who also happen to be three of the greatest of all time (bart starr, who won the first 2 super bowls and is the only QB EVER to lead a team to 5 championships, joe namath, the first pro QB ever to throw for 4000 yards in a season, and ken stabler, who in 1971 rushed for TWICE as many TDs as he threw.)

  • @PooPoo2U Dude, I'm a UT fan, but you're such a tool, get out bammer queer, SEC football isn't life, and go get one btw, cause you obviously don't.

  • @gcox1993: "Dude, I'm a UT fan..."

well, didn't have to make it any further than the first 5 words to determine that you're an idiot.

    thanks for the warning!

  • @JKM070 Who care you luck that a Fat Ubangi Blocked two of our FG

  • every fucking video...

  • @allpeeps4me > > That's right ... Roll Tide Roll ...

  • I remember when Arkansas ran out on the field while we were running thru the T. We scored 35 points on them in the First Qtr.

  • it was 21 20 in 06 retard

  • Fulmer looked a little winded coming out of the "T", didn't he?

  • I was there!

  • NOthing in the nation like the pregame at Neyland, inside AND outside the stadium. On campus, and all around the dang region. Hell, even here in my CT backyard I keep it real like I did back home on Rocky Top. GO VOLS.

  • i went to the WKU game! so amazing! i sat next to the new qb recruit btw haha

  • this sunday!!!

  • this gets the blood flowing right? DAMN i can't wait till i can go to UT

  • @gcox1993

  • Majorettes are good.

  • I was at this game and it was LOUD!! VOLS WON!!

  • ur wrong wilhoit kicked game winning field goal

  • i'm a tennessee fan and i have 2 admit we lost this game

  • I was at this game and it was LOUD !! GO VOLS!!

  • Doesn't get any better!

  • That was one of the loudest I have ever heard Neyland Stadium. And those that don't believe how loud Neyland really is, look at the quotes of Cal quarterback, Nate Longshore, two weeks before this video was taken. As he put it: "I think the shear size of that place was intimidating. You can't hear anything. You go up and down the line, your wide receivers, your running backs, your tight ends, nobody can hear anything."

  • I don't go Tennessee but I really like there fight Song! GO VOLS!

  • Go Vols!!!!!!!! I hope to go there some day

  • Im from St Louis..And I love this song!! Makes me wish I lived there..I love Tennessee!! Just got back from Pigeon Forge TN..Best Place to visit!!

  • hey voljunkie u wanna be friends

they were booin florida the whole time

  • cool celebration, i guess

  • Right...................this is the real deal.

  • Theres nothin like tennessee football GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Eat your heart out Pac-10! The south is where it is!

  • You tell them dude!

  • I remember when Arkansas made the mistake of running out onto the field before we split the T. We tacked 35 points on them in the first quarter. :)

  • I knw i was at that game !!!

  • Peyton had a field day that game, LOL

  • chappy48 the jump around is a crappy rap song from the 90's. our pregame as been around forever. but by the way thanks for serving our country. i really apreciate it.

  • Best college marching band in the United States! This band deserves the Sudler Trophy. They have the greatest crowd support of any college band. Superior marching and playing. Great job Pride!

  • man all of those teams are so over rated. this isnt even all of the pregame you douche bag

  • This doesn't even touch any of the major big ten pregames like penn state, ohio state, and michigan

  • Its so cool to see those halfsteps performed with military precision!

  • all you big ten fans out there. listen to this. a sports expert ranked the sec as the TOUGHEST conference and the big ten 6. and you cant beat SEC tradition.

  • chappy48. you are an idiot. the big ten has three stadiums that hold over 100,000. the only one in the SEC is tennessee and we still beat you in yearly attendence

  • ive seen it a hundred times live, STILL gives me goosebumps seeing it, feeling the excitement, and singing with 108,000+of my good friends. You dont have a pulse if this doesnt stir your blood

  • Gotta love the UT pregame show! I have to say, though, that I'm a little curious about the editing of this video... play Florida's theme song in its entirety but cut parts of Rocky Top and most of the rest of the pregame show? I'd love to find a video out there that has the whole pregame.

  • Cal 45 Tennessee 31. Would someone tell the asshole Les Miles that the pac-10 can play. I must say I have a lot of respect for Tennessee. Good fans, not afraid to come out West. like LSU, GA and FLA. Fulmer was very gracious in defeat....

  • This is the best stadium and atmosphere in all of college football!

  • perfect, very nice, the majorettes or twirlers are special great......super sasha SVK

  • Kickoff Zone recently announced their All-Time(75 year) SEC Team. Tennessee placed 6, more than any other SEC Team. 3 are on offense, and 3 are on defense:

    QB Peyton Manning-1994-1997

    OG Chip Kell-1968-1970

    WR Willie Gault-1979-1982

    DE Reggie White-1980-1983

    DT John Henderson-1999-2001

    LB Al Wilson-1995-1998

Do you all agree with these picks? Should any other former Vols have made it?

  • Doug Atkins

not only one of the greatest vols of all time but one of the greatest Chicago Bears of all time as well

    Pro Football hall of famer

  • Rocky Top you'll always be home sweet home to me....

  • that stadiums crazy damn.

  • how the fuck do teams play n there

  • Badly. :-)

And to be quite honest, I think Tennessee's dismal home record might even have a bit to do with that. They get too nervous over their own excitement.

  • beavergrad16 is right. Dr. W J Julian introduced Rocky Top in the 70s (which is the time several traditions were set).

  • 1972 - Rocky Top was one of three songs in a country medley. We (the band) were split into two circles, one on each side of the 50 and then moved into mirror image circle drills that included geometrics, flowers, splitting down to 3 concentric circles (on each side of the 50). We played it at the Astro-Bluebonnet Bowl in Houston. At the Houston practice, Doc got mad. I was not lifting my feet high enough. He ran over and pulled my shoes off and threw them on the ground. Typical practice.

  • Coldbeer, Rocky Top came out in the 1970s, not the 1990s, if that's the song you were talking about. Plus, it's not even the official UT fight song. It's just the one that the UT fans love most, and visitors hate the most. Which, by the way, is what makes a great fight song.

  • Ahhh, the great UT pregame. There's really nothing like it. You know you're in a hostile place when 110,000 fans boo their own band while they show respect and play the visitor's fight song. Gotta love the hatred for the Gators.

  • Ha ha ha I never thought of it that way...but I do hate the Gators!

    GO VOLS!

  • Oh, and one more thing to all you southern folks. Write me back when you can beat Wisconsin's Jump Around. Nothing I've seen competes with it. And when I say nothing, I mean NOTHING.

  • That sounds like a new tradition...there haven't been rappers that long. But that sounds like fun. We don't have anything special that's done at the end of the 3rd qtr. There have been discussions...Florida does something similar...at the end of the 3rd qtr, everyone, old and young alike, lock arms, sway, and sing "The Boys of Summer"...really loud! We have Rocky Top and sing it or the band plays it about 60 time each game. Most of our opponents hate it...our regulars, anyway.

  • Wisconsin and football dont belong in the same sentence together...name an NFL player from Wisconsin.....SEC wins titles and puts players in the league, pluse we have tradition not some song from the mid-90's that was terrible when it first came out!

  • Let's see...Joe Thomas the #3 pick in the draft to name the first guy that comes to mind. Lee Evans, the #1 WR for Buffalo. Chris Chambers, the #1 WR for Miami. Troy Vincent, 5 time pro bowl corner and #7 overall pick in '92. Mark Tauscher, starting tackle for the Packers. Shall I keep going? Wisconsin has more tradition than you could shake a stick at. Not to mention our football program has been around longer.

  • I'd have to check the facts on that, but i wouldn't think Wisconsin has had a program longer than most SEC schools, maybe i'm wrong. As for your list of NFL players, that's not very impressing to me. You could take pretty much any SEC school, excluding Vandy and a couple of others, and come up with a better list.

  • chappy has to be the dumbest idiot on earth to believe that the big-10 is the best and ND is an independent school, the big-10's best teams got stomped by USC(GO TROJANS!) and lololololol florida lolololmao troy smith and ted ginn r true playas but damn no o-line help lol but penn st. did good in that game and so did wisconsin and the arkansas QB is stupid 4 comin to the SC we got sanchez, booty(lol),some dual threat QB

  • Who are you talking to uscjd2004? amanfromaplace or WoodyHayes47?

  • I was talking to the idiot, chappy, who is badly mistaken regarding the pecking order of college football.

In the north, it's a game. In the west, it's a pastime. In the south, IT'S A RELIGION.

  • There's a difference between a fan and a fanatic. Yes, in the North our lives don't revolve around the local college football program. What we do in the north is have fun. We walk to the game chatting with our friends, eat a brat or two...or three. Drink some beer and watch the game. We sing along to great songs and have a blast. If our team loses it's not the end of the world. I'd take that experience over the "religious" fervor of the south any day.

  • How boring...and you call yourself a fan. If you have never attended a game at Neyland, it's something you should do before you die. Sporting News ranked

Neyland the #1 stadium to watch a football game. And the gameday experience if second to none. The SEC leads the nation in attendance EVERY year. Come on down for the ultimate TN gameday... the traditions, the band, the fans...nothing like it in the world.

  • I probably will, eventually. I want to go to all the great stadiums around the country. And the reason the SEC leads the nation in attendance is probably the reason Wisconsin Hockey leads the nation in attendance. We have a bigger seating capacity then everyone else:) Kind of a cheap way of doing it in my mind. I invite you to come up to watch a game at Camp Randall. Not many stadiums can compete with the history of Camp Randall.

  • And I wouldn't exactly call it boring. Wisconsin is the #1 party school in the country for a reason;)

  • No, all the schools in the SEC. GO Vols, GO Gators. it's a good thing your Badgers did not play the Gators. Look what they did to the Buckeyes. GO SEC

  • TN has had that distinction before and I'm not sure it's one to be proud of. They are not talking about having fun at a football game!

  • Well, it got so bad at Wisconsin that they banned alcohol at the stadium. Now all the students get blitzed before the game and show up late. Last time they allowed alcohol at the game we stormed the field after we beat Michigan and people got hurt. That's how we roll:)

  • Did they sell alcohol at the stadium or are you talking about sneaking it in? Another thing, if you leave the stadium for any reason, you have to have a ticket to get back in...no exeptions. Tickets are hard enough to get as it is...

  • They used to, but not any more. I wouldn't know about leaving the stadium and coming back in, because Wisconsin fans don't leave the stadium. And tickets are very hard to come by for Wisconsin games. I've had to pay well over regular price to get the tickets I've gotten lately.

  • There is NO alcohol served in any College stadium in the South...will never happen. I don't leave the stadium either during a game, but at GA, you can leave after the beginning of the 3rd qtr and return with a ticket stub. I have season tickets so I don't have to pay more than face value. I have 4 seats, so I've got a tidy sum wrapped up in tickets. I wouldn't have it any other way...

  • You eat BRAT....come on... we just have better athletes and fans in the South.. :) Your jerks in the North of just a bunch of pussys.. LOL

  • I do eat Brats. What's wrong with that? It's the best gameday food in American sports. Way better then hot dogs, burgers, beans, ribs etc. If you've gone to a college football game and haven't had a brat cooked in beer with sauerkraut then you don't know what you're missing. Try it out!

  • Then you should come down to the south and have some ribs. Who is your team?

  • Wisconsin Badgers. Beer and Brats that's what Wisconsin does:)

  • Well... National Championships, Beer, and Ribs. that's what we do..

  • Yeah, okay. If I was speaking for an entire conference I could say the same thing. And Brats are better then Ribs, by any measure. You can try and argue with me, but you'll lose.

  • Right now, I'm too tired to argue with you, but a good Memphis style Barbeque is really hard to beat...even by a Brat! Just kidding........

  • In their article on Wisconsin, The Sporting News book rating football venues talks about brats and beer on the grill as a tailgating favorite. Just doesn't sound too good to this southern gal. But you may not like our tailgate menu either, so that's a wash. Enjoy, you little brat!

  • Looks like an awesome pregame show. I would still prefer ohio states. Kinda has a big ten feel for a second when the opposing teams fight song is played..always a good time for the home crowd to boo it's band hahaha. But the Power T is the best part in my opinion. I'd love to see this in person

  • You should. There aren't any full videos of this Pregame on youtube that I know of, but if you saw the whole thing, you'd have a hard time choosing which is your favorite. have you seen the circle drill?

  • Yes..i have seen the circle drill...there's a video on here from the outback bowl practice. I love the rotating flower. Texas Tech did that same drill a few years back for their western show at Ohio State. It's always a goof show though when you get over 100,000 fans singing the fight song together in a great stadium and that's why i must go and see it in Tennessee. Thank god i have friends near Knoxville lol.

  • Take it from someone who marched for 4 years at Tennessee, the Tennessee Circle Drill is not a goof show. If you only knew what went into putting that show on the field, you wouldn't call it a goof show.

  • I'm pretty sure he meant to say "good" show. This guy seems very pro-Pride.

  • Man, I am having major football withdrawals!!! Can September 1st get here already!!! Ready to beat Cal. GO VOLS!

  • What's with the bitching about football scores? This is the PRIDE OF THE SOUTHLAND doing the PREGAME show. No football is involved. And quit insulting Vol fans, it really does get annoying, especially if you aren't intelligent enough to use the word correctly. Kind of funny, you make fun of us, but we're the ones that are usually correct.

  • Yes. Finally someone on target.

  • If you think that the Big Ten is so much better than the SEC why are you even looking at an SEC school's video??

  • my teams an acc school but i take sec football over everything hands down

  • I think you meant to use THAN instead of "then" in both of your misuses of the word, but yeah you're a pretty smart cat. And I guess if scores, championships, outcomes of games, and "results" don't matter THEN (correct usage of the word) you must be in some fairy-tale land because the last time I checked "results" were a pretty big part of football.

  • Ohio State did pretty good in the National Championship...that must be a pretty good feeling to lose to the SEC in every major sport...but yeah, yall rock!!

  • WOW, good job, you took one game in the 100+ year history of college football to come to the decision that the Big Ten is worse then the SEC. Sorry, but maybe you should know your history before you open your mouth. Big Ten football is the best, regardless of the results. There's more history and tradition in the Big Ten then in any other conference.

  • well, if i can't spell, i owe to my education in OHIO..which is where i'm from smart guy. therefore, i am also well aware of ohio st./michigan. it is a great rivalry..but find another game that matches the intensity at EVERY SEC game..i am hard pressed to find one..maybe some penn st games..but as a conference..you are lacking in the excitement department.

  • Wisconsin, in fact, is the team that has beaten Auburn and Arkansas- two teams from the south for the last two years. It's the team that will be ranked in the Top 10 along with Michigan and Ohio State and Penn State and Iowa who will be in the Top 25. You remember Penn State, don't you? ;)

  • yes, congratulations are in order to the big ten for their whooping 2 bowl wins this season..way to go guys! ohio st. and michigan sure did impress, by the way.and 5 teams in the top 25 AT THE SAME TIME!! is that a record for the big ten? is that supposed to impress SEC fans? we almost always have AT LEAST that many..flordia,auburn,lsu,georgia,tennessee definate top 25

  • I'm sure you meant whopping, but people from the south can't spell, so I'll let you have that one. The Big Ten is better. No need to prove it, we're simply better. You simply need to look at the best rivalry in college football (Michigan vs Ohio State) to see which conference is the best. I'm a Wisconsin fan and I can tell you that I've never been to a better home game the Camp Randall. Go there and you'll see what I'm talking about.

  • Yeah...I'm pretty sure I can spell. I like the generalization though. It makes you look ignorant. I'm assuming, since you sound so certain, that you've been to every stadium and your assessment is in no way biased. I'm not saying that Camp Randall isn't a good place to see a football game, but your total disregard for SEC fan support is ridiculous. Come to a game in Neyland Stadium or the Swamp then we'll talk.

  • Sorry, but I've been all over the south and "yall" aren't too smart. At least, you don't act like it. And it doesn't matter how well the teams do, it's all about the fan experience, and the Big Ten is tops in that department. It's amazing to me that you're even trying to compare SEC to the Big Ten. There's no comparison. The Big Ten IS college football. Camp Randall has more history in it's little finger then all the SEC stadiums put together.

  • that's a joke right? certainly you aren't serious? kentucky even has more history than wisconsin..maybe you need to check your facts before posting buddy. it seems as if you are just here to stir the pot.

  • chappy - Forget football for a moment. Do they teach grammar or language skills? You truly do need to find an editor to help you edit out the profanity. It reflects badly on your university, high school, etc

  • If you really want to go there, UW is one of the top research university's in the country. You can pretty much thank us for any break through related to Stem Cell Research. Haven't been to college yet, been kinda busy defending my country, but when I do decide to go it will be to Wisconsin. Finally, if you don't understand the difference between real anger and trash talking then my statements are lost on you.

  • Sorry - Truth is, I don't understand trash talking, so I probably judged you unfairly. In the band, you are part of over 300 people where every person gives every bit of effort every time, practice or game day. That was and is the Pride. You never experience that intensity again (the fans sound even louder from the field). The military would be the hard work for less appreciation. I wish you had been at UW instead of fighting and I thank you for the risks you took on our behalf.

  • Congrats to Wisco btw they are not a bad team at all and I'm sure you have a good pre game. However, it's just different in the SEC. How about fans stalking their Coaches. Some Arkansas fan used the freedom of information act to get Houston Nutt's phone records. Like I said it's a whole different deal down here. People LIVE for football.

  • Red Neck football is stupid on many levels...

  • Big Ten fans who think they are better than SEC fans....leave. I have lived in Georgia and Ohio, and there are a number of SEC schools who have better fans than Ohio State (UGA, Tennessee, Florida, LSU, Auburn, and don't forget Alabama, who had 92,000 fans at a SPRING GAME!). Big Ten fans are no comparison. In the North, college football is a game. In the South, it is almost a religion.

  • Big Ten fans are better then SEC fans. Georgia sucks (Wisconsin proved that). Ahhhhh, yes, Alabama, the POWERHOUSE of college football. Wait nooo, that's right, that's all people in Alabama have to cheer for. Country ass hicks. The truth is, if you want to see college football history, look to the Big Ten and other northern colleges. Michigan vs Ohio St. and Notre Dame. Need I say more.

  • You're simply full of shit. You have no idea what you are talking about. Stop embarrassing yourself.

  • What's embarrassing is how easy it is to get under people's skin. Go Longhorns!;)

  • but chappy does know how to say sum funny shit lol

  • I laugh at Michigan vs Ohio St. and Notre Dame.... YAWN. How about Auburn vs Alabama in the Iron Bowl, or UT vs Alabama the third saturday in October. Maybe the Worlds Largest Cocktail? How bout that? Keep watching your lousy Big 10 football. You're just missing out on REAL football. Oh and by the way, how did Ohio State do vs Florida in the national championship this year?

  • I'm sorry, but it's widely recognized that Michigan/Ohio State is the biggest rivalry in college football. It's not a matter for argument. And the Big 10 also has the oldest rivalry in 1-A football. Minnesota vs Wisconsin. 116 games and counting

  • You have you're opinion, I have mine. I find the Iron Bowl to be a better rivalry. The Army Navy rivalry might be the best though, with more storied tradition behind it.

  • The only history in that is media hype. That's as true today as it ever was. But on the field, those schools could never compete in the SEC.

  • Yawn...

  • who is wisconsin. do they have a football team? O wait i remember, dont they play in the crap 10.ï»
