@SuperPogo69 Perhaps you missed the fact this is a Z4M, not a Z4? Even a stock Z4 3.0 is able to run pretty close with a Boxster, which is good company to keep. And the M will run neck and neck with a Boxster S all day long. I really don't think you have a clue what you're talking about, and I think you know it.

I have one of these I love it! It's not as fast as the SLK 32 AMG I used to have though becuase the automatic gearbox on that was awesome. Also getting up over 140 takes longer in this car and feels kinda light up at those speeds. But 80-100 feels really solid. It's a fun car and I think it would be awesome for drifting but have not tried it yet.

@NicoPrincely Do a few modifications. My dad fixed his up a bit and it can out run Z06s, Vipers, and even some ferraris. We put the SuperSprint exhaust on it, a cold hair intake, changed the pullys, upgrade the ECU. and once the warranty runs out we're putting the ESS supercharger on it. Right now its about 420HP with the Supercharger it'll be pushing around 670 (they claim)

yeah I have one of these, a silver one, and everytime i race an M3, mine pulls about a car to two cars, but the smg on the M3's are somthing else..it shifts too fast.

I pick up my BMW Z4 M Roadster (E85) 3.2 tomorrow (26th May 2009). It has every possible extra including a hard top too and with only 3200 mile it is MINT.

Have you driven a BMW yet? If not, I think you must before you consider anything else. I drive a 335i, and it is spectacular. I've never driven an MB, but I have heard that, while nice, they are dreadfully dull as a driving experience. I vote BMW for you.

Yes, my brother has a 330Ci, i drive it all the time, but that handbuilt V8 from Benz does send a tingle down my spine...id definitely have to test them both and see which is much more usable. I love the fact that the BMW's come in stick shift, no matter truck or coupe or sedan..and i drive stick, so thats a huge plus. Its going to come down to a deadly shootout!
