  • toute une époque remonte à la surface de mes souvenirs les plus beaux

  • No one living a young life in the late 1950's will ever forget the Platters, they were & their music still is awesome.

  • heavenly shades of night are falling...

  • is tony williams the lead singer?? if he is he is indeed the greatest man.. the only guy that can match the king Elvis

  • @leerockali Yes, Tony Williams is the lead singer on this and, of course, as well on their recording of "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes".

  • tony williams have to be one of the best singers of all time i just love to hear the man sing

  • I'm a kid again, dreaming way back then too. Hopeless :)

  • I feel truly sorry for the young people of today they're never ever going to experience beautiful music such as this. A kiss and cuddle every day keeps the doctor away.

  • Quelle belle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Calming, absolutely beautiful!

  • so wonderful...feels like love.

  • Friday night at the roller rink, gliding around in the sea of lights to Twilight Time. The intro still sends chills up my spine.

  • Man I miss this stuff. hey Michelle... if you are reading this.. I wanna dance to this song with you one more time. (Even if you are 60 and whatever) Hugs

  • I was 15 yrs old when this song came out. I'm loved it since then. Beautiful music, beautiful voices. The teenages of today are missing out on some fantastic music. I wish all of them were clued in to the music of the 40's, 50's & 60's. It would be a wonderful learning experience for them & they would love every minute of it.

  • cant beat this MUSIC

  • The lead singer had a beautiful voice. This group was so classy and had great harmony.

  • @ Nocaro, thanks for the information. I never knew.

  • The only word I can think of to describe this song is TIMELESS.

  • I loooooooooooove this song! ;D

  • No word can describe its magnificent

  • Twilight time, my favorite time of the day.

  • this song is so sexy!

  • I play this song all the time in New Orleans at Tommy's Wine Bar on Tchoupitoulas street.

  • Counting the moments darling Sue till we are together totally xxxx

  • Rockin '50s slow grind round and round a sparkle-balls ballroom at Twilight Time....

  • To all: If the sad facts are true, it only shows they were all too human. What is certain is that their voices, their harmony, the musical arrangements and those beautiful words will never be forgotten and loved by so many, even today.

  • While they were together, they had a bunch of hits. Of course they were all great. I likes the harmony and the magnificently clear voice of Tony Williams, and all the inflections he used to color the songs so beautifully.

  • damn! A time long gone> It doesn't matter what some of these arrogant teens say about older people talking about old times. Those times were remnants of our parents and grand and we flowed with it and it made us who we are today. These young people are doomed in this world. They hate to hear you talk about a more comfortable time mentally . It was expressed in the music, just like they express feelings in theirs, but there music is more against the grain. With the girls they go old school, umh

  • @tonkinshipwreck69

    VERY well stated

  • Ponies brought me here!

  • Fantastic! It's like listening to one of my dad's mixed tapes!

  • Oh Boy!! The originals..thank you!! Loved them.....

  • something so subtly 'creepy' about these songs...and taht is why I would say def' top 5 for me.
