We are still technically at War with N.Korea. Only an Armistice have kept it from being a full blown War! The DMZ (De-Militarize Zone) was created to separate the opposing military forces from each other. From 1953 to 1992 over 1200 American soldiers have died there. From time after there have been small firefights that goes on at the DMZ. So to those who think that DMZ is not a combat environment you morons can all go to hell.

@ssgduke56 - calling the place a DEMILITARIZED zone proves Army has weird sense of humor.....I was at Liberty Bell May 76 to June 77 and my Dad said I served in peacetime and told him all the dead & crippled guys will be glad to hear what he said....approx. 25 years later I finally felt vindicated when I got a VFW membership card (which I mention to the ignorant as needed) +<8-)
@downranger69 - I was at Liberty Bell 76-77 & for OPN Paul Bunyan events of 18-21 AUG 76.......I wondered what U meant by "rotation" - I did ALL my time there....Gary Travis, MOS 11C (mortars - 81mm & 107mm)....note to all: much of what happens re DMZ is unknown Stateside.

Pelosi, Reid and Boxer (Barabra) I think they could rule North Korea very well. They could deal with their opposition a little more "directly" in the DPRK than they can as Democrats.
