JUST FUCKING AMAZING. No words can honestly describe what feelings this song provokes in me. And i agree, Nostalgia is a hell of a thing... This song kinda brings me back to 6 years ago, ... man we die fast. It's depressing.
@ACIDOCEAN1 i've listened to trance over 12 yrs. heard it all from asot to underground and club. rarely do i shed manly tears. can't believe i missed this one. amazing beautiful with the PERFECT TITLE FOR THE SONG.

Mi canción favorita de Airwave, el título realmente lo dice todo...... Cuando las Cosas van Mal sólo tienes que poner los cascos, esta canción, subir el volumen y relajarte escuchando esta maravilla...... realmente pone la piel de gallina.
@ploj6 Thank you so much for uploading this song. People say you have to leave your moms basement because you played wow. But they will never experience something you did. They have no idea what they are talking about. WoW = good feelings! <3
i found this song many years ago from dopefish's video. Before i even knew about dopefish i was doing some of the same thing he did back during classic, after heard this song and seen his video i made this my song for exploring and gltiching WoW. Also from his video i feel in love with Airwave and is nowmy favorite DJ.
Dopefish the grandfather of exploiting in WoW.Shall never be forgotten!
>You can cut our wings, but we will always remember what it was like to fly<
WoW back then wasn't just an ordinary game, it was a world, and Dopefish was a visionary and learned how to explore that world, and show his exploration in a very beatiful way with the best trance tracks the world has ever known.
@lemmehaviet This song was originally used in a WoW movie, called "Exploration the Movie" by Dopefish which was published to WarcraftMovies in 2006. He exploited different bugs, in the world of Azeroth. Go check it out.
Airwave is an absolute legend. I emailed him and he emailed back within a few days with a full email, not just a line or two. Genuinely awesome guys like him are hard to come by nowadays in the music industry. Support his music!
Dudes and Duderettes, i listened to this amazing song for over one and a half while lying in my garden in the beautiful german sun at 25° this afternoon.
Maybe my nerdskin gets a sunburn now, but i would be pleased anyway :)
2 years and counting without WoW, shouldnt be listening to this song, too much nostalgia -.- feeling like i should have never quited when i listen to this
@ryanrooneyful The good times are long gone mate. This song reminds me of the good times, but what u get today is so far from the original game. So I've quit too.
@ryanrooneyful i quit it some time ago. i don't regret it, but this song is just pure epic. i enjoyed every day of my 2005-2010. beautiful game and especially teamplay.
Reminds me of BC days spending months on kael an vashj...altho I never downed them cuz I quite until just recently...miss those bc an vanilla days :,(
@freddyoks I heard this song on a German wow video from BC beta. They had it play during the Karazahn fight. freaking EPIC! Though the line "Tito, wir mussen ein weg nach hause finden!" and the memories this song brought to my head ended up causing me to make changes that altered my life. Which oddly led up to me quitting WoW altogther...
Certainly not. It's well known because of Dopefish's exploration video, from before TBC. Who cares about world first videos? Exploration is what made this song famous to WoW players.
i have been in hospital for almost 3 weeks. it was so damn boring. my only wish to my father was, to put this track on my mp3-player.. he has done..and i was so filled with hapiness.. sitting outside in the night hearing this track. thanks for this track!
best ever, i can go and listen to some other stuff and think: maybe thats as good or better than this. But when i actually listen to this again i see how wrong i am everytime....just the best...nihilum FTW
people ask me all the time if i feel like i wasted my life on wow. I tell them maybe i could have done better in school try to get my grades up and maybe get into a better collage. But I never feel like the time i spent playing wow was wasted and I will hold onto the great memory that I have until the day I die
WoW Nostalgia FTW! whether you originally heard the song from Nihilum or Exploration. I can't believe how many other people out there were touched by this song and associate it with the good old WoW days!
WoW Nostalgia FTW! whether you originally heard the song from Nihilum or Exploration. I can't believe how many other people out here were touched by this song and associate it with the good old WoW days!
@Azalen24 This song has cult-like status among MANY wow fans. He's saying the devs are probably mad we're listening to music better than what was in-game.
@ESNWindows Nah, it's not related to ingame music. This song was prominent in a very widely viewed exploration video put out by Dopefish maybe a year before TBC hit. It included tons of wall walking and showed the caverns of time, Hyjal, Outland and even allegedly the emerald dream.
Devs didn't appreciate Dopefish and gang showing off their unfinished future projects, so a hotfix was put in to disable wall walking. This song is very much associated with the video, hence the dev remark.
@JlgbRemains Search for NoggAholic videos or "Exploration the Movie", I can't remember which one. It's from vanilla, like 6 years old :) Brings back memories.
When I first heard this song it had to be quite a few years ago, when Nihilum released their world first kill video of Kel'Thuzad. Such an awesome video, the intro and all and the genuine joy at the end. I played back then and I know that doing something like that was actually a feat that took sacrifice. I still watch the video from time to time, remembering the good old vanilla times, with this song in the video (alongside others).
AurynThePaladin, you are right. This song brings back memories, so many memories. I've done the explorations myself, been to all the places shown in the movie and more, became an admin/GM of many servers, met and befriended hundreds if not thousands of other players, read all the warcraft books, spent my entire middle school life on it, none of it mattered in the real world, yet I don't regret my time on it. I had fun, that's all that mattered.
@pwnwner currently i dont play wow, but im thinking im gonna relapse and get back into it. I've spent a lot of time on it but it was with rl friends which really makes the time worth while and memorable. I dont regret spending the time i have so far on wow, but what annoys me the most is when people harp on me for playing, meanwhile everyone else has their internet fixation, which is no problem O_O.
I met Airwave after the concert in Helsingborg and I feel honored to have had a few words with him, such a down to earth and humble person, not wanting to sell out to achieve big fame and celebrity status, wanting it to be all about the music. One of the few true trance heroes left!
This song and it's name as a whole has such an emotional story. The song name suggest that shits gone wrong, but yet the melody tells us that even when things go wrong, we can look over our mistake and learn upon them, and know that life will go on and we can create a better future.
Who is this WoW geek you guys are talking about? Anyways if guys want a really good Trance channel checkout binaryfinary2005 channel that's where I found this beautiful anthem.
Everything this guy does it magic. His music inspires thought and elation. No other DJ is as consistently good as this dude. His tracks are nice in length and great throughout the build up.
can you people shut up about Nihilum and WoW or whatever other bullshit source you heard this song from.
this song was made for trance. shut the hell up about your video games and movies and enjoy the track for its intended purpose. to relax, ti put your hands up, and ti say thanks to Airwave for creating such a classic trance track.
@whatwhatwhat7 As you probably know, for many people Warcraft is pixilated crack. When the video "exploration" was first released over 5 years ago, it was 'an experience' just watching the video. There was something exceedingly special about viewing content for the would-be biggest MMO in history, years prior to the contents actual release (some of which is STILL unreleased, Emerald Dream). This was the kick-ass background music used that still invokes deep emotions and memories to this day.
@AurynThePaladin Wow, that is the exact thought I've had in my head for so many years. Although World of Warcraft broke out and forced me to quit, the memory of "glitching" and searching for "bugs" in games is left to stay. And the Exploration video still feels nostalgic. It is so good to see it is not only me who thinks this way. Thank you for sharing this.
@AurynThePaladin true true true ex wow / warcraft HC addict ;) even tho i dont game that much anymore, trance (Music) is still there in my heart from these times and tracks such like these have soooo deep memories with the game. I think even i know i was way too deep in the gaming thingy still the memories will last forever, i m happy i got to experience all this with 3 of my best irl friends, and achieved everything in pvp i ever wanted, AKA - Zakal und / human mage. [60's,70's,80's] THX blizz.
@AurynThePaladin you hit the nail on the head buddy this song immediately screams raiding when i hear it. Reminds me of the old wow days first seeing naxxaramas and being blown away by it
@AurynThePaladin Holy shit, when you're right, you're right man. Everybody that watched that video back in the vanilla era knew that same feeling. It was impossible not to feel that way if you were involved with warcraft at all.
@AurynThePaladin Indeed! The secret in dopefish's movies was trance is a music which opens your soul, combined with the unbelievable things we saw, the video burned itself into our memory. It was a magical trip into an unknown world, like a dream you can drift off. Heck even when i watch the exploration movie nowadays i can drift back into the past and i feel so relaxed.
@AurynThePaladin And it was also the song played by Nihilum, when they achieved the world's first kel thuzad kill prebc, conquering the most challenging raid encounter in WoW to date.
@ZorinaWhisperwind You're retarded, and obviously you never played in vanilla. Kel'Thuzad was in Naxx prebc, then they re-introduced the encounter in wotlk.
We should start something on the forums for blizz to put in where you can pick what expansion you wanna play just like they do with the other server clients... Where you can choice to play vanilla wow on a server with awhole different set of toons like you can choice to play on a Aussie server or a US server

@whatwhatwhat7 Well the first time I head it was in the Kel'Thuzad movie, and I bet that's where like tens of thousands other heard it from :P

@AurynThePaladin
I still watch that video from time to time, it's really nice and relaxing, only wished I had it in HQ or something.

I think even i know i was way too deep in the gaming thingy still the memories will last forever, i m happy i got to experience all this with 3 of my best irl friends, and achieved everything in pvp i ever wanted, AKA - Zakal und / human mage.

@AurynThePaladin Well put, I remember having the same feeling watching exploration :D Fantastic tune

@IPlayInBeastMode Kel'thuzad was not PRE BC ....it was in BC.
ZorinaWhisperwind 10 months ago
wait no sorry youre right i was thinking of Kael'thas for a sec
ZorinaWhisperwind 10 months ago
@ZorinaWhisperwind You're retarded, and obviously you never played in vanilla. Kel'Thuzad was in Naxx prebc, then they re-introduced the encounter in wotlk.
