  • my mom taught me this and its amazing!!! I've been doing this for years and its easier if you heat up the spoon with a blow dryer as a beginner but you do get the hang of it and eventually you really don't need the blow dryer.

  • I really want to learn how to do this but I'm still kinda confused. The spoon is facing downwards?

  • Yes, the spoon is facing downwards.

  • Alright, thanks. And then you just kinda use your thumb to curl it around it? Agh.

  • Yes, that is pretty much it. You use pressure with your thumb against the spoon and that will curl your lashes.

  • Okay, I think I got it. Thanks a lot - that's really gonna be helpful for me.

  • OMG yes when I went back to my homeland PR that's what my grandma had and I asked her why and she had mention it was to curl her lashes and I showed her my eyelash curler and she just said " why pay extra money for something you already have at home and plenty of them" haha I love my grandma and I went home and tried it and it worked...!! curling eyelashes on a budget... gotta love it :0)

  • thanks, ive always been curious

  • that so didn't work for me. :(

  • try heating up the sppon it might work =]

  • wow thats pretty ghetto lol

  • for the longest time my mother had a spoon in her cosmetics bag... to this day when i tell people she used it to curl her lashes nobodys believed me or they thought she was crazy. yay for your video!

  • hehehe.. I remember when I was younger I used to wonder why she had it in there too. ^_^

  • wow thats pretty awesome!

  • i do dat......it works!

  • any kind of spoon?

thanks for adding the video ive been looking for one of these for a long time. does it pull out your eyelashes? does it come out really curled or what?

  • yeah you can use any spoon you like. You only pull out your eyelahes if YOU pull while curling them, other wise you won't. They come out pretty curly. The longer you work on them the curlier they'll be. I tend to just do 30 seconds per eye and I am done.
