  • write the store where u gat the kick start spring

  • @kelly14ize bikebandit if I remember right! Thanks for watching!

  • Great vids homie, I think you should make more on vids on fixing simple things on dirt bikes and pit bikes, they seem to be more popular then ever.

  • @SingAsImFlogged Hey thanks man... yeah I've still been posting dirtbike repair videos but dont mess with to many pit bikes really. Not a fan of the chinese stuff... lots of others on my channel though! Thanks for watching!

  • I picked up a bike like this for $60, mine was a 1995 except mine had drum brakes in the front, a bigger expansion chamber exhaust, and a purple seat, I did a tune up and it ran fine and would fly for a little 50 it had the same problem with the kickstart except mine didnt even have the part were u put your foot i had to use my heel. I sold it for $200 for a little profit.

  • @mechaniczman64 Hey there you go... some ride time and some profits always good!

    Thanks for watching!

  • hey i just got a ssr 110 pitbike, the front sprocket was loose so i took of the cover on the opposite side of the kick starter and tightened it. so i whent to kick it and had the same problem as you, any ideas? thanks so much if anyone replys

  • @chlb29 Huh... I'm not really familiar with those bikes but I seems pretty crazy. Probably just have to pull the kick starter off and pull the side cover and see what you got going on.

  • @jfrost77hd do i have to drain the oil? im not to good with motors by the way

  • @chlb29 Yeah you should drain the oil first... should be like a little spring on the shaft under the cover.

  • @jfrost77hd is the oil drain the bolt type thing on the underside of the case

  • @chlb29 Yeah it should be... and if you dont have a dip stick there is usually a small bolt on the side cover that you pull so the oil level is correct.

  • @jfrost77hd so when i open it i dont have to replace anything? i heard if you open the case you have to but gaskets

  • @chlb29 Probably wouldnt hurt to replace the gasket too but I've got away many times with not having to. Just take it off carefully and make sure it doesnt tear... gradually pull it off from which ever side it is less stuck too... either the engine or the cover itself. Probably no more than $10 if it does tear.

  • @jfrost77hd hey thanks for all the help on here. im just afraid of ripping the gaskets because i dont have a clue what im doing and i dont know were to get them for that bike

  • @chlb29 We'll not to preach but there's only one way to learn... believe me I've torn things up! The biggest thing is not to be afraid... get a book, talk with people, take notes, label stuff, take pictures.... whatever it takes just dig in! Just remember everything is fixable... just sometimes expensive if you really goof! lol Not saying tear the whole thing apart, but just from experience got to get over the scared part to fix stuff. If you do mess with it... take your time with it.

  • @jfrost77hd thanks, ill take your advise. im taking it apart to see tomorrow

  • hey my kickstart broke from my kx250 but i still have the shaft i guess a bolt broke that holds the shaft from the engine and they are charging me 125$ is that alot

  • @NoShameFishingTeam We'll if the shaft still has good splines (the grooves) and just the kickstart it broken or the splines in it are stripped yeah just get a new kickstart, I'd try and find a used one on ebay or something sure you can find one alot cheaper.

  • it werd how it goes forward and u should me vid of u doin 360 backflip 720 frontflip lol

  • @MrSnippers2010 Yeah it 's kinda weird... some are like that though. Ha piece of cake... I'll get right on that bud! ;)

  • how would you fix a kick start on a honda ct70?

  • @chevellenut70 Honestly I've never worked on a ct70 but it's either like this or internally behind the side cover.

  • @jfrost77hd Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it, mine acts like something internally stripped? idk

  • Dose this work on all kick start

Please let me know and great video ether way

  • @xdeano123xx Alot of them are internal but there is others like this I'm sure. Thanks for watching!

  • waht cind of type bike is it and how mutch cost they not a 2000 model or something but something he has

  • @bliephoofd This is a Ktm 50, I believe it is a 1997. The prices really vary in age and condition.

  • holy crap man. dude i wish i had your garage. thats like my dream to have all those bikes. i've got an'85 honda xl250r but its decided to not start anymore. oh well

  • @es30381 Hey thanks man! Always my dream aswell, once I got older kinda went crazy and cant stop buying dirtbikes! Always get them broke for check and fix them up, keeps me out of trouble! What's the deal with the 250, if it's been sitting awhile might just need the carb cleaned.

  • Sweet your garage is filling up lets see that ktm in action.good to see ya vids J

  • @mrbobsshow Hey thanks Bob... yeah I'll try to get some videos of it. Considering I'm 6'4 it's kinda small and I usually wreck the small bikes...but hey that would be a great video right!
