Stoudemire is a good player. He has a similar playing style to Carmelo Anthony, but relies a lot on muscle driving to the basket. Problem is, Knicks suck, so players will crowd him, and he will get a lot of turnovers. He is actually playing center, and he is really a 6'8" guy, a big SF playing PF, and C. Nothing wrong with that, but he is going to need help down low, not just his team generally. He is going to do a lot of work just for the Knicks to win, and the defense won't be stressed much.

On Jan 20 2011 against the Spurs, they did exactly what I expected, they gave him problems with defense. The paint can get crowded when the defense knows "YOU DA MAN", especially with Amare's play style which consists of mainly driving, & attacking the basket. He did work hard under Nash, he is going to have to work even harder with Knicks, because he is the offense.
