  • why arent once of these in NYC?

  • @Zacurafire I don't know ask Clint from the USAMTA (NYC), why he doesn't invite me (Kru tony Moore) ??

I came over to the US over a year ago.

  • Man they should have a Muay Boran place in Florida

  • is there a place like this in America ??

  • I need a place in Kentucky that teaches Muay Boran. I love this form of Martial Arts elegant, but deadly. Turns out that Sitsuphan camp is in Massachusetts. It's about 17 hours away, but I will train there soon probably next year some time with some saving.

  • @xaviersmith58 You are more then welcome to come and train at the Sitsiam Camp (where the students are from) in Manchester, England. Kru Tony Moore

  • Good Choreography...Great Technique. :)

  • มวยไทย ของคนไทย

  • nice

  • @thaiboxing2008 Can you tell me what the fighters are wearing? That checker looking cloth around the waist?

  • i really like the ritual beforehand, i wish I understood what it meant. it seems like it shows mutual respect though with is something lost on our western fighting style *cough mayweather cough*

  • good

  • It's a demonstration, one of that blow can kill easely...

  • wish theres a place in mississippi that teaches Boran

  • i wish there was place in washington

  • I wish there was a place like this in Canada, Ontario XD that teachs Muay Boran or at least see real life demonstrations of it XD

  • Wow this looks great, I wish you were based in London, it is so bloody hard to find a decent Muay Thai club and even harder for Muay Boran...

  • พวกพู้หลักพู้ใหญ่บ้านเรามัวทำอะไรกัน เข้ามาดูบางไหมอันไหนถูกอันไหนผิด เดียวเขมรก็เอาไปแดกอีกหรอก

  • Damn i wish there was a place in Australia :(

  • @daaskapital1 you will soon have a Sitsiam Camp in Australia, because my must senior student Kru Carl Johnson the one on the Video doing the more spectacular techniques is going to live there.

  • @thaiboxing2008 Sweet, do you know what city Mr Johnson is planning on moving to?

  • @daaskapital1 it depends where he get a job, hopefully Brisbane,

  • @thaiboxing2008 That would be awesome. A Muay Boran school in my location. Awesome news. I hope he does come to Brisbane

  • @thaiboxing2008 Hello Kru Tony. daaskapital here. I was wondering if there is any new information on Kru Johnson and a Sitsiam camp in Australia yet? Thankyou very much.

  • ก็มันบอกอยู่ว่ามัวโบราณ

  • I felt that Muay Boran is too dangerous for MMA, only few techniques are allowed but not all. On my opinion.

  • love it am glad to see rare traditional martial arts being practiced correctly

  • 2:34 awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :D

  • is it the obligated ritual that they are doing at 0.19?

  • @MyLalinea This is the Yang Sarm Khum Movement, made before fighting.

  • I wonder what will happen if they challenge Tony Jaa :D

  • this looks fake. like just for show

  • @burtonborder212 Well Done !! yes its a show.... you can find some real bouts on my Site too, thanks for watching. Kru Tony Moore, Sitsiam Camp.

  • muito legal, gostei muito. parabens

  • i want to learn this. this is bad ass

  • @SuperPluto10 you are welcome to come to the Sitsiam Camp to train. Kru Tony Moore

  • just wondering, does savate origin from muay thai or muay boran

  • @superdarkmario2 It very well could have some of the techniques from Muay Boran, because there was a French colony living in Ayutthaya, Thailand during the 16th century and Muay Thai (Muay Boran) bouts were very popular.

  • Very impressive. I was wincing until I realised it was only a demonstration!

  • damn that's great ! but is that a demonstration or they really fight like in a competition or something??

  • @VirgilishDANTE Its a demonstration, but the techniques are real Muay Boran techniques used in fighting. Kru Tony Moore Sitsiam Camp, England.

  • impressive

  • Muay Boran Rules!!!!

  • @thaiboxing2008 how'd muay boran spread all the way to england?

  • @Itachi429 I'm a student of Por Kru Samai of Buddhai Swan, Thailand. I have been training in The Thai Martial Arts for over 34 years, I live in Manchester, England. that is how ? thank you for your interest in the Thai Martial Arts. Kru Tony Moore

  • @thaiboxing2008 Is there anything like this In norway? I really love the Martial arts. But never found any clubs In norway.. =/

  • @MJPN I think it is very hard to find Real Teachers in Muay Boran, many Teachers teach only the sport of Muay Thai. I went to Norway many years ago to fight in Muay Thai. you are welcome to come to my school The Sitsiam Camp in England to learn.

  • is this the sitsiam camp in altrincham?

  • @YoutmanCuzFamBredrin The Sitsiam Camp is in Ashton-under-Lyne, the Teacher is Kru Tony Moore.

  • @thaiboxing2008 is it not in altrincham any more?

  • @YoutmanCuzFamBredrin The Camp as never been in Altincham ? we were in Clayton Manchester for over 10 years and then moved to Ashton-under-Lyne we have been here for 14 years.

  • I didn't know that there were spinning flying kicks in Muay Thai

  • @victorhugomuzi Spinning Kicks are known as "Chorakhe Fad Hang" (Crocodile whips his tail) there are many spectacular in Muay Thai.

  • nice look mai techniques :)

  • At 2:10 Did he tickle his foot? lol

  • Did anyone notice the whole demo was on a concrete floor? Great leg skills by both practitioners. There were no hand skills displayed because that's not really the Thai way. Westerners have exposed Thai styles by using good hand skills to set up leg/knee/elbow strikes thus beating a lot of Thai's at their own game. However this has forced the Thai's to learn better hand skills also, making them even more complete. Iron sharpens iron. Great style, great art. Sensational!!!

  • I live on mexico and i really would like to learn some MB moves.

  • What was showing here just demonstration but if it is real fighting...it gonna be the same. Thanks for shareing some of your wonderful techniqe. love it.

  • amo el muay thai,el muay boran y el aikido...

i love muay boran, muay thai and the aikido ...

  • ค่ายไหนสอนอะ มวยโบราณแบบนี้ !

    มันดูทะแม่งๆ

  • good job man.. Im thai people..nice to see

  • Seems like they have pretty good Muay Boran schools in England... wish they had some near me in upstate NY. Obviously not a serious fight, but an excellent demonstration of skills none the less... Great job fellas.

  • @TheVisionary84 Thanksfor your comment. I waiting for the USMTA to get back to me with some dates to come over and teach some Seminars there in NY. I hope to see you there ? Kru Tony Moore Sitsiam Camp.

  • Nice, very nice! Thank you

  • มาจากค่ายไหนเนี่ย

  • FUNNY :D

  • nice, its about time i found a good muay boran vid

  • What's the name of this kind of thai music?

  • @eddiebrock9

The name of this music is Kang Kaw Kin Kuay.Or Bat eat Banana in thai .

  • One thing important of muay boran is killing blow.

  • this is beautiful, but.. i don't believe someone get hit like this more then a few times. It has to be a soft contact demonstration; though I'd pay for the class.

  • Imagine if Anderson Silva fought Muay Boran; we would lose.

  • Comment removed

  • Now this... is the REAL Thai Martial Art. Too bad sport Muay Thai is much more widespread.

  • Very nice show. Good choreography . Looks really cool .

  • :0 very nice one of the nicest muay boran demonstratios i've seen.

  • verry good am thai

  • 1.14 ! Power kick !!!

  • If they were trying to kill each other......it was over at 53 seconds. He faltered for 1 second. That would've been his death

  • OOHHHHH last part was dirty

  • 1:15 OH MY GOD

  • โอ่ มวยไทย ผิดเพี้ยน

  • damn I thought they were actually gonna hit each other with those string wraps..... do muay boran competitions take place anymore?

  • @mrkiky Sawasdee (Hi), you can see some Muay Boran fights in Thailand, but this way of fighting is too dangerous.

  • @thaiboxing2008 Sawatdii khrap thai, I'm sure it was banned in Thailand? (officially ofc not inc backstreet places) I heard a recent rumor. wasn't sure on the truth.

  • @mrkiky Search A burmese kickboxing call lethwei

  • can 15 year olds learn this?

  • @sdurgefafd Ofcourse a 15 year old can learn Muay Thai. Muay Boran however i dont think u can, unless you want a 15 year old to know how to kill someone effectively

  • It's coreagraphed. Not just the beginning but the whole. Those kicks and elbow hits on the face would instantly KO almost anyone. But its OK somehow everyone has to be able to demonstrate what he has learnt. And these guys must have practiced a LOT before doing these techniques.

  • did you guys see that?? he tickled his foot!!!

  • Good demo...beautiful post more...please, tq

  • If this was a real fight, there would be blood all over the place. And I really think no one should be able to stand after an elbow in the balls :P Nice work.

  • very good choreography. some of those moves are so close you can feel them.

  • the hit in the video is true or acting??

  • @umlarmy

  • well i do mauy thai and muay boran they are both amazing

  • @KphexTwin00 but i wonder where to learn muay boran in the philippines

  • @XXxBladeXGenesisxXX you live in the philippines

  • Krabi Krabong is the original, so it is the way of Self Defence.

  • @thaiboxing2008 hey i was wordering if i learn it too...

  • @tonyheuangpaseud

Yes, everybody is welcome at the Sitsiam Camp.

  • Muay Thai (Thai Boxing) is the sport.

Muay Boran (Old style Thai Boxing) also known as Muay Kaacheurk fighting with rope-bound hands

    Krabi Krabong (Thai Weapons)

  • I love this! I wish I had a school here that teaches traditional muay boran.

  • those techniques are to brutal to use for real in a demonstration like that but i would have to say its takes more skill to be able to hold back at last sec before a strike then to connect with the strike

  • i didnt think this was staged till 2:50

  • Nak muay traditionnal (muay boran, krabi krabong) thai kick Krabi mean sword, krabong mean bludgeon not Cambodian ok? haha There's still a book from ages ago written in Thai shown everything about Muay Thai boran Its older than 300years for sure. Its also not written in Cambodian, Sorry YOU"RE WRONG,

  • 1 more thing, Thai people used Muay Thai boran to Fight with Burmese to take the northern part of Thailand back from Burma. Its a true story that every Thai people known. that was 400 years ago, there's no way that Thai copy from Khmer.

Type this in youtube "Muay Thai Boran : war fight techniques" you'll learn more, so you won't be stupid as what you are. Or you can click on Related Vdo, right hand >>> Ok? Wake up man!! stop dreaming..

  • @raiwa09 very true. i remember reading how Muay Boran was so brutal and forceful because the Thais needed a way to damage their opponents through their armor with just there bare hands and fists

  • To make it even more clear...Boran is a Cambodian word. Muy thai is pretty much similar to Kun Khmer meaning Khmer Fighting. From my understanding, all of these are related> Yuthakun, Muy Boran, Bokator, etc. thai people just rename the Cambodian arts and alter some styles.

  • I'm a Thai man I was born in Thailand. I know everything about my country and my language!! your understanding is not right!! My grand dad is Muay Thai Chaiya + Muay Thai Boran Master. so I know what is it ok? Boran is thai word mean ancient or very old, ages, ok? more clear?

  • well your kinda wrong there...if your from thailand, doesnt it make more sense that theyd rather tell you that muay thai boran is from muay thai. especially coming from your grandfather..well they are one of cambodias main enemy along with the chams ( modern day vietnam)

  • All you said are wrong as well, do not pretending like you know.

  • You're the one have to do more research, I don't care about what you said. What I know is my grand grand parents tought me. They born before me 2-3century and they have tough me the right thing, If you not believe me GO to Thai Boxing sociation and ask them, they will tell you same thing as what I have says. Thai is Thai. Khmer is Khmer. If Khmer really good in fighting HOW Come you have a little country to stay? What the shame

  • look at the facts, thailand came from around china and reached the khmer empire because the mongols chased them out of china to there...all of muay boran fighting style had affiliation with the Hindu mythology...they had no affiliation with hindu watsover during the time they reached the khmer empire...and when they arrived in the khmer empire, khmer boran was already carved in the walls of Angkor...and also the word boran is a word from the sanskrit that the khmer adopted.

  • Oh watever u say!! Ching Chong Guru!!

  • @Sharingan209 I knew Sanskrit 'mavya' became 'muay' in Thai, but I am having trouble figuring out how the word 'Boran' comes from Sanskrit. I had always heard that was an indigenous Thai word meaning 'ancient' or 'old-timey'. Do you happen to know the supposed Sanskrit form of the word? Or, failing that, the Khmer term from which you claim it was borrowed? Just curious, as a Sanskritist.

  • Rock n roll nene.... esta chido este rollo....

  • I love watching martial arts at its best...almost brings a tear to your eye. I am not a Muay practitioner but I certainly respect it along with all real MAs. One day the world will wake up from the dream of MMA and learn to be a whole martial artist.

  • this is awesome !!! nice demonstration

  • I want to learn now hah.

  • is mauy thai better

  • Muay Thai for sport and Muay Boran for real fighting.

  • Beautiful martial art, Using the whole body as a fluid weapon, good job in showing the beauty of your art !

  • @lee4samurai I found it more interesting than kung fu.

  • Comment removed

  • the ultimate style of fighting

  • lol nice acting

  • Beautiful, fierce style.

  • May this be the worlds most dangerous martial art?

  • @Fajjani Honestly, it's not that much more dangerous than regular muay thai. People say that it's a sport with all sorts of regulations so it's less deadly. Well that's crap, the kind of regulations they put in place were things like no grappling (a big part of muay boran) and no headbutts. That being said, muay boran is a more complete martial art but there's no secret death punches and any strike that could kill someone in muay boran is in muay thai.

  • @armadilloHD Whatever you can do anything in muay boran. Muay thai is watered down muay boran just think about that. Hello muay boran was designed to take a guy out as quickly effectively as possible. Anytime you put rules on an art it becomes stylized then you have rules regulations that without guys may go nutz and kill one another. I aint saying both are not effective forms of combat. But to say it aint much deadlier is nonsense.

  • @armadilloHD Just think of it like this there 2 completely different mind sets.2 different arts.

  • @armadilloHD just because you don't know of any secret punches or moves doesn't mean they don't exist.

  • @Fajjani no...

  • @Fajjani nope not really, its the person behind it, dude, get youre head outta youre ass!

  • @paladindarknite Perhaps you should lay off the alcohol.

  • @paladindarknite explains how muay boran was designed to KILL

  • Seriously awesome. These guys are like stuntmen from martial arts films. Theyre not doing full contact except places like the arms and palms I believe.

  • AWESOME!!!!

  • great demo

  • What a fantastic demonstration
