I take it this isn't a Traditional Kata, but rather a Created Kata.
I've competed at WKF, WUKO, and WKA events all around the UK, Republic of Ireland, and Europe, and as a former Scottish, and British Open Traditional Kata Champion, Mr. Wu is not performing a Traditional Kata. There is no logical embusen, bunkai or oyo.
If this 'Kata' was performed at a WKF, WUKO or WKA Traditional Kata event, Mr. Wu would have been disqualified.
Don't you think if he was competing at WKF,WUKO or WKA he would adjust his form ...duh! It is traditional in essence and modified. You people need to do your homework....their is a reason many different styles have similar kata's ie Seisan, Seiuchin etc............they all ... for a loss of better words stole or modified anothers form for their own reasons. Scott is a solid martial artist that can do many different styles....I assure you!!!!
I have judged him in the GSKA circut. Very modest, amazing to watch. He was talking in Japenese so I had to give him the nod to begin a few times before I got it right because I had no idea when he was asking to begin. Kepe up the good work Mr. Wu!
The nice about moderating my own page is I can delete any stupid ass comments like the one I just deleted =) the comments so far have been positive and I thank each user for them.
