this series shaped my life,as a child i longed to be there with them in the old hollow tree,most magicle series ever. it has inspired my country living,learning the wilds,living from the land,hunting etc .

I have been searching for this song for 6 years. since the first day I got internet. I never knew the title of the show it hasn't been easy. Tonight I put up my own video when I'm playing this song on guitar (what I could remeber of it) and posted it on a few forums, asking for the show title. It only took about an hour and I was sent here. Wonderful. Many thanks for this video.

I used to race home from school to watch this ( every thursday?). Then Tom Pothecary and I got it into our heads to run away which we did in the easter holidays. We lasted a fantastic week ( although our parents knew where we were). I would like to see this again and catch up with Tom - hes probably still in the woods somewhere!

there was a guy selling all episodes on e-bay . Unfortunately it's a VHS Rip . I guess it's better than nothing . Would buy the DVD if it ever surfaced :) Great to now that this series left all these fond memories

Really lad,do yourself a favour and get yourself a copy of the book,theres allways a few on that auction site up for grabs,or go to your local libary and borrow a copy as I did(the copy I took out hadent been taken out since 1967 and I had to wait a fortnight for them to find it! I maintain that this book along with Huckleberryfinn is the best children/boys book EVER!!!
