  • "All wars are wars against children."

    Howard Zinn

May this excellent video and all the awful truths it reveals serve - once and for all - as a lesson that we never use war, the mass killing of people, as a means of solving our problems.

  • HAHAHA funny tho, look at this: xynaxis said he watched "all 141 minutes" ? Ummm...I thought 1 hour means 60 minutes, so, wouldn't the total be 101 minutes? Oh & don't forget the 54 seconds lol :P

  • People care more about Dancing With the Stars or American Idols, its just sad.

  • You are more correct than you can imagine.

I watched this movie (all 141 minutes) ONLY because it showed up on my home screen.

When I wanted to go back and re-watch parts of it, I did a YouTube search and refined it by "number of views".

The results that showed up were a page of fluzzy videos.

Maybe we have the government that we deserve as a people.... and, it keeps me up at night.

  • ... and Bush didn't even read the 1 page executive summary...

  • how does he get and 1 41 minute download???? i am held at 10mb?????????

  • what plane show me the plane hitting it, moron, show me all the other camera shots,

  • "In the 70s, the US agreed with Saudi Arabia that Opec oil should be traded in dollars. American governments have since been able to print dollars to cover huge trading deficits, with the further benefit of those dollars being placed in the US money markets. In return, the US allowed the Opec countries to operate a production and pricing cartel."

  • The world is a much better place without Saddam Hussein. I have been with the war closely, although I didn't vote for Bush. I was for the war because let's face it, Saddam was just another Joseph Stalin. People who expressed support for this leader would because if they didn't, they would be killed from Iraqi spies paid for by Saddam himself. :)

  • We put Saddam in power. We sold him his weapons.

The Iraq war had nothing to do with Saddam being a dictator, that is what we wanted him to be.

He threatened to use the Euro instead of the US Dollar for global oil sales. That goes against an agreement our top oil men made with OPEC in the 70's.

Iran is threatening to do this too, that is why Bush wants to hit Iran as fast as possible.

  • Actually, you are wrong. There was a bloody revolution that occured in Iraq before Saddam came to power.

The Bath party had gotten real tired of their monarchy because it was set up by the British. A revolution occured, and Saddam Hussein came to power.

The U.S. didn't empower Saddam, the Iraqi people did.

  • The US was key to getting him into power.

Without the help of our CIA he would not have been PM/dictator of Iraq.

Google "how saddam came to power" even the Wiki has some good info on this.

  • Nah, google is too vast a search engine to find anything really, and Wikipedia can by edited by anyone.

  • It is well documented.

You are discrediting google as a means to look up information. believe me you can find plenty of great information on the internet. That pretty much is the point of it. And the reason why claims like mine and yours can be so easily fact checked. The wikipedia info can be checked also.

My point was the information I wrote was well known.

  • Okay, what are the sites then? :?

  • Just do a few simple google searches. You cannot post urls on youtube.

You can also watch a film on Google Video called "Why We Fight" that has a lot of good information in it also.

  • Well thats not true either. Saddam Hussein was Vice President after clawing his way to power, he didnt overthrow the monarchy it had been overthrown some 20 years before when he rose to President. Once there, he did what he had done all along, made a move based off of European dictators(especially Hitler). He invited all officials to an important sort of inauguration, and ordered all his political rivals as traitors and had them escorted away, where they were tortured and killed. hes a fascist

  • All too true! :) It's basically a switch of power that has taken place. Money and power is what makes the world go 'round.

Saddam Hussein's government was very much like Joseph Stalin's where people were hired by the dictator to spy on each other. Traitors were gathered up and put away with.

It's a really sad thing to have happened. The fallen dictatorship even opressed those of religion, which made many people angry, including Osama Bin Laden.

  • I hope you are not connecting 9/11 to Iraq, even Bush has said that he never implied that was the case.

Bin Laden loved the US in the 80's when we were funding Afghanistan extremists with military training and tons of weapons to fight the Russians.

You can read why he does not like the US in his 1996 fatwa (again google this no URLS on youtube).

Basically he did not agree with us being in the middle east and. Our deals with Saudi Arabia and our troop presence there being one main reason.

  • Bin Laden never loved the U.S... Again, a very very naive view. Bin Laden hated the West(ie its culture, traditions, values and especially support of Israel) and did not want the U.S. to seem the driving force that won the war for the Mujihadeen. Consequently, he did not accept American aid and used his own vast wealth to attain high powered weapons.

Bin Laden's a disgusting freak who deserves to be ended. He hates the US because he is a complete fanatic and radical.

  • Yes Bin Laden absolutely did like the US at one point, and he graciously thanked us for our help.

We funded Afghanistan with millions of dollars in weapons and training to push away the Soviets.

You can read why he stopped liking us in his 1996 Fatwa.

Just google Osama Bin laden 1996 fatwa.

Instead of calling me "naive" for posting the facts, just do some simple fact checking.

  • what a joke. How many books have you read about Osama Bin Laden, Al Qaida, the War on Terror, Afghan Civil war ect. I'll answer for you, I'm gonna say 0. Not trying to be insulting but common

Osama Bin Laden= A member of a wealthy royal Saudia Family. Not Afghanistan.

You are naive because your cherry picking different facts you read. That was an arguement made by many people and proved untrue. CIA officials in the 80s have said he didnt accept US Aid. He's hated the West his entire life...

  • The US helped train and arm Afghanistan during the cold war. Bin laden thanked us for that.

"Larry King: [on Osama bin Laden] What were the circumstances under which you met him?

Prince Bandar bin Sultan: This is ironic. In the mid-80's, if you remember, we and the United States were supporting the Mujhadeen to liberate Afghanistan from the Soviets. He came to thank me for my efforts to bring the Americans, our friends, to help us against the atheists, in other words the Communists."

  • We supported the Mujihadeen yes. OSAMA BIN LADEN DID NOT ACCEPT OUR SUPPORT! The Mujihadeen was a vast network of different groups all brought together to fight the Soviet occupation. Osama was rich and didnt need American money and weapons as well as not wanting the West to be seen as a significant hand in the war.

Again, Im not saying he didnt "thank" us. You can thank someone and still hate them. He hated the West, which in his eyes included the Soviet Union.

  • Google "euro currency" click the 1st link which is the European Commission.

You keep engaging me on this, but you won't do even a single drop of research. I am not here to teach the basics of the US or European economy, and other information that should be well known by American adults.

I am trying not to be insulting, but you are calling me "naive" in many of your posts, when you do not have a simple understanding of our own monetary system. Yet you still choose to argue with me.

  • I choose to argue with you because your wrong. This is not complex information, its the basics. I know the US still has a gold reserve, whether that is still how our currency is backed is a different issue. You claim this but then are trying to say we supported Saddam in the 50s, thats just not true at all and seem to be saying Osama didn't hate the West prior to '96.

  • You are accusing me of being naive.

I have checked all of my facts. You should do the same.

You are claiming that the US is on the gold standard. This is high school economics, i am not here to educate you on the very fundamentals of what you are arguing with me about.

    - The USD is not backed by gold.

    - The US was key in getting Sadamn into power.

    - Bin laden has thanked us in the past for helping Afghanistan.

Please fact check your information before posting or accusing me of being naive.

  • You are being naive.

-Saddam was not supported by the US during his rise

-Osama Bin Laden never liked te US. Whether he thanked us for our contribution in Jihad is a different matter, he's always hated the West especially because of our support for our israel and later our troops in saudia arabia

-Your claim of OPEC switching to Euro's in 2000 is completely false since the Euro was not introduced as a cash currency until 2002.

Most nations are on the fiat system...Go look this up

  • Look things up before you post them.

Check your own facts before you hit "Post Comment".

    - Saddam was supported by the US since 1959.

the US was key to him gaining power in Iraq.

    - Osama Bin Laden was very grateful for the help that the US gave Afghanistan in the 80's, his fatwa against the US was not made until 1996.

    - Google Iraq Euro, there is a CNN link titled:

"U.N. to let Iraq sell oil for euros, not dollars" dating October 30, 2000.

The euro was released: 1 January 1999.

  • lol you know what, fine then...

-How did the US support Saddam, as in with what and on what conditions? Why did we support Saddam? Please, I'm so interested to know why the US supported some random sunni muslim in Iraq while we were pre-occupied with communism in Cenral America and SouthEast Asia.

-Osama Bin Laden has always hated the West, thanking us doesn't mean he doesn't hate us

-The Euro was not a cash currency until 2002. We would not go into a war based solely on that, lol wow

  • Couldn't you have even googled:

    "iraq euro"?

I am going by facts. Sources like CNN, the European Commission etc. I think you are just going by your own personal assumptions and opinions.

I am not. I have barely given my own personal opinion, just the facts.

  • Never said that didn't happen. But your claim that that was a main reason in the pretext to invade a country is overstretching it tremendously. I doubt that was even a factor. I don't go off assumptions, the US had little if any interest in the Persian Gulf during the 50s.

Send me your sources for this in a url, you can msg url's.

  • Well, it doesn't attach to 9/11 perse, with it as a factor. When one looks up the history books, they will find that people often go to extreme measures under extreme circumstances.

For instance, right now there are Islamic "terrorist" attacks taking place in China. Why China? Because these "terrorists" are fighting for their religion. The Communist Government of China is closing down Muslim-inhabited schools and programs.

Under Saddam, it was very similar, thus Bin Laden's attacks.

  • You need to actually look into these things before making bold statements like that.

No, We did not put Saddam into power. We gave him weapons and funds as several other Nations did(ie France, Russia, Canada, the UK ect)to counter the threat from authoritarian Iran. We much rather him not be a dictator and if he was, not an anti-west dictator...

Why would we care if they used the Euro? The world is worried about Iran because their developing a nuclear program...including members of the EU

  • The US was key into putting Saddam into power.

You can fact check that with a very small amount of research. I cannot post links on youtube.

The US cares about Iran is because they are threatening to stop using the USD for all oil transactions.

That is big problem. In the 70's our top oil men and politicians made a deal with Saudi Arabia and OPEC. Our money has not been backed by gold since the Nixon admin. The world is forced to use the dollar to purchase gold from the OPEC nations.

  • No we weren't. We were a key into putting the Shah into power in Iran, we had no involvement with Saddam in Iraq that is nonsense.

We care about Iran because they have a nuclear program and their prime minister says things along the lines of wiping Israel off the map. Not everything is a conspiricy, this isn't the x-files. Our dollar is still backed up by tons and tons of gold haha... this is just a ridiculous argument omfg

  • Yes we helped put the Shah into power in Iran, we helped put Saddam Hussein in power too.

It is not a conspiracy theory, it's as real as out involvement in Iran with the Shah.

You are calling me naive yet you just claimed the USD is backed by gold.

The USD is not backed by gold.

Americans have not been able to redeem their USD for gold since 1933, and Foreigners have not been able to redeem their USD for gold since the Nixon admin in 1971.

    Google: Nixon gold standard

    Click the 1st link.

  • Uh... actually yeah! The U.S. dollar has been backed up by gold for years. It's a kind of gold reserve where businesses have been able to get gold certificates. Now, they don't literally get gold, but they put their dollars in for something valuable. :)

  • The US Dollar is not backed by gold. The US has an amount of gold that it stores, but it does not directly back up the currency.

Can you please fact check your claims before arguing with me about them?

This is High School economics, this is not secret information. I am simply stating the facts, not my opinions.

Google Nixon gold standard, no quotes, the 1st link named "What Was The Gold Standard?" explains it pretty well and keeps things simple.

  • Of course. That's what I meant by "they don't literally get their gold." :) But pardon my tied tongue, we haven't been able to get gold from dollars sine the Great Depression. There was just this huge overhaul over the federal currency and such. For that reason, we just have FDR-imprinted dimes now. :)

  • We do not have a gold standard. We have what is called fiat currency.

"Today, like the currency of most nations, the dollar is fiat money, unbacked by any physical asset. A holder of a federal reserve note has no right to demand an asset such as gold or silver from the government in exchange for a note. Instead, the currency is backed by future claims to wealth of American taxpayers and other income sources of the Treasury."

Our money is "unbacked by any physical asset."

  • You might be right about that. Im a foreign policy hawk, Im not too keen with the economy

  • In other words, a dollar is a dollar because "the government said so." Legal tender, no?

  • Americans have not been able to redeem gold for their US dollars since 1933, foreign investors have not been able to since 1971.

The US Dollar is not backed up by gold. That is not arguable. It is not opinion. And you should know this very basic information about our currency.

  • There's really no point in arguing with you if your not going to take 5 minutes out of your time to see that we had no involvement whatsoever with Saddam's rise. That's just not true. Sure...

  • I have fact checked everything I have said.

Which makes arguing with what I am saying silly.

you can simply look this information up for yourself, like I have.

The US has a very key role in putting Saddam Hussein into power.

  • Well, its hard not to be divided on the issue. The Bush administration lied thats simple. There were no Wmds, there was no Bin Laden-Hussein connection, and all their evidence for proving this was flagged by the intelligence community. They always handled the war completely attrociously for the 1 year and really still bad until Nov. 2006 when they got Rumsfeld out.

On the other hand, I hate Saddam. Once sanctions were lifted, he would begin developing weapons anyway. I support the war now...

  • Gulf war stats: Iraq had 3000 tanks, almost 1000 fighter jets. Chemical weapons, missiles, 560,000 trained armed men, weapon caches all over the place.

    Iraq spent billions on arms.

We were fine with it except for two times, both having to do with the 1970's OPEC agreement.

    1. Iraq attacked Kuwait in the early 90's. He could have went on to hit Saudi Arabia if we didn't stop him as per our OPEC agreement.

    2. Iraq stopped using the USD on November 6th of 2000 in favor of the Euro.

  • Lol. Yes, we invaded Iraq because they were in favor of the Euro. We launched a war that will cost us 3 trillon dollars because we just hated the Euro. Your view is naive and for the invasion of Kuwait, yes a lot of it does have to do with oil and righteously so. If Saddam had attained North Saudia Arabia's oil fields(Saudia Arabia had a tiny military), then he would control half of the world's oil. That is a global crisis and that is why the US was GIVEN a UN Mandate.

  • The change to the Euro was the main reason for the war in Iraq, and the primary reason Bush wants to go into Iran.

I did not say if agreed with it.

Also early projections for the total cost of the war were no where near 3 trillion USD.

It has nothing to do with hating the Euro. It has everything to do with an agreement in the 70's that made sure all OPEC transactions were done is USD Dollars.

Remember the US Dollar is not backed by gold anymore. The OPEC agreement is very important.

  • aw man.....i just hope we know what's right for us to do in this upcoming election....

  • The noecons. Their plans to take over the Middle East were designed in "Plan for a New America," written by noeocons (this isn't conspiracy talk, this can be googled, seen, and read by anyone). 911 set the stage for a much needed "Pearl Harbor" to justify invasion in the Middle East. Only the Afghan and Iraqi wars went sour -- difficult than they thought -- because they didn't count on fanatical Muslim patriots fighting to the death. And so we see the aftermath of a failed Middle East debacle.

  • Now that there is a new administration coming in next January, may Bush, Chaney and the other senior administration adviser all go over to Iraq and do humanitarian work for the next 8 yrs. They and others made millions via private companies and this is the only right thing to do in their retirement instead of playing golf and living the American dream that they wrecked for others.

  • War is hell, indeed. Is there a perfect war? Is hindsight not 20/20? Is this film not biased?

    johnsreport(.com)

  • Yes war is hell, but the way is see it, this film is about incompetence that made a bad situation immesurably worse. The people interviewed are some of the biggest players who were there at the time. I see no bias, I see fact. It's all the more terrible that no positive spin or answers could be given by those interviewed.

  • Is the Iraq Crusade a deliberate and diabolical attempt to destroy the United States by turning the world against it, bankrupting it, demoralizing and dividing it...to pave the way for the New World Order? Mission Accomplished.

  • Bush & his administration have BLOOD on their hands!

Thank you for creating more terrorists who hate our country! People are not born evil. We need to live in someone else's shoes before we judge them. Not all Muslims or all Americans are evil. There were many who wanted revenge after 9/11. Did it work? Obviously not! I guess we should have gone after the right person w/a plan. Never voted for Bush & I never believed in the war in Iraq. Bush & his administration will pay in the after life.

  • You write KILL them All. What makes us so different from terrorists with that attitude.

    Impeach Bush!

I guess you can only impeach if you have sex (Clinton), but not if you're killing innocent people in Iraq & KILLING OUR SOLDIERS!!!

Stop the FEAR/HATE & BRING OUR TROOPS HOME SAFELY!

  • HarryUSA & every American writing IGNORANT comments regarding this movie DID NOT UNDERSTAND THE MOVIE!

You still don't understand WHY the Iraqi people became violent! You still don't understand WHAT OUR government did to the people of Iraq & to our soldiers! Our soldiers are dying because of the incompetence & arrogance of BUSH's administration!

ARE YOU SO BLIND THAT YOU CANNOT UNDERSTAND WHAT THIS MOVIE IS ABOUT & WHAT IS GOING ON IN IRAQ! Why the situation is so BAD! If you don't you're lost

  • fuck Ronald Reagan and fuck Palin, stop spreading fear so that republicans can stay in office

  • INCREDIBLE MOVIE

  • these scum bags that destroyed America's creditably and committed these crimes in the name of America and Americans must not get away from justice, must put them on trial and held accountable them for what they did, must not fail fallen soldiers, must not fail Americans, we must not fail America! PUT THEM ON TRIAL, PUT THEM IN JAIL.

  • well I didnt vote for BUSH i voted for Kerry so you guys have no right to bitch about how things are right now

  • I was so angry when bush won

  • notice how smoothly the war went in afghanistan and it was located giving us the advantage because that was where we were supposed to fight this war.

iraq is bush's diversion a mistake because bush is a mistake!

the government isnt telling us any truths concerning iraq!

except for the little yellow ribbons on the back of cars us being in iraq is not valid.

but the christian sure wants us there, why is that???

if god were with us in iraq we wouldn't have been at a disadvantage.

    bush=devil.

  • Brilliant, now lets try Bush and the gang for international war crimes (and countless domestic crimes while we're at it)! we don't have to hang him like they did Hussein, we can give him a taste of his own "painless" Texan three-drug cocktail.

  • waterboard, followed by public hanging then slit his rib cage :O)) and a cookout the ext day we gather up the 2 pope's and all those in any society that harms others for the gain of profit that includes makers of weapons, drugs, alchohol, haarp, etc. Then we can have change :O))

  • fuck obama hes a little bitch hes not qualified to run this country if people vote for him there voting for a retard

  • spcops-you should stay out of a political discourse, since you are to underexposed/unqualified. people like you are not supposed to think! period-

  • Fuck your mother, bitch.

  • The beginning reminds me of Call of Duty 4.

  • If another country invaded us we the people would be shooting any mother fucker that tried to take our lives!!I don't blame them, defend the american people at home, don't go to war with other countries, defend our country. They took down our own towers jus to make an excuse to go to war!!Wake up PEOPLE!

  • All I gotta say is FUCK YOU government!!!Because thats all you and me will ever be able to do about them, they are to powerful and nobody is willing to stand up to them anyway they are all brainwashed....The truth hurts.

  • "The Power of Nightmares" (BBC) A history of the Neocons & Al Qeada.

They see nothing wrong with manipulating the public into trusting their fearful vision of the world, and they've used religion as a tool in their arsenal.

They've used FEAR to create a vision of the world where there's a terrorist under every rock. I'm sorry, there is a segment of our country that is sadly MORE open to subliminal suggestion, right now they think Obama's a terrorist and are shouting to "kill him".

    Frightening.

  • hehe.. "THEY" are about half a step away from saying "Hang that N..."

  • There is no good reason why the same thing can't happen in the U.S. in the next decade. You should all probally think about that before you rush to judgement about the Iraqi people... Sorry, just saying thats the reality of it.

  • ...Our infastructure has been falling apart for years. We are at the bottom in education of all developed nations.Almost all of us are completely dependent on the dollar or the government.Half the original Bush admin. has duel citizenship with Israel and the other half bought property in Dubai. They aren't sticky around because once we stop buying, and we will,we will be of little importance to much stronger economic nations....Wake the fuck up!!!

  • I think you all are missing the big picture here. The banks now own all public lands in the U.S.{and most of the private land as well, since few people own their land out right}Fort Knox is empty and the corporations own or have long term leases on 95% of our natural resources. We manufacture almost nothing and Our military is being corporatized. All we have left is debt.Your now watching a fire sale on the U.S. in the stock market.......

  • if you want to know why the US invaded Iraq look up "peak oil".

  • Remember the Kuwaiti ambassador's daughter telling the bogus story of Hussein and the babies in the incubators?

  • An Iraq in chaos keeps the oil off the market, which makes more profit for some. The weapons manufacturers make tons as long as the war continues. The multinational powers will not allow Iraq to nationalize the oil like Iran did. Wouldn't a "free" Iraq be permitted to do so if it wished?

  • Here here. Very well put.

  • When will these people be indicted and prosecuted for war crimes?

    G. Bush,

    D. Cheney

    D. Rumsfeld

    P. Wolfowitz

    C. Rice

  • what a disaster, The Failure of Islamic States lies on our hands

and we continue to lie to those who want to be part of the western world

  • I'm not sure what's more disturbing, how fucked up the Bush admin was, or that I knew it and am complacent about it.

  • I THANK ALL THOSE WHO PROTECT LIVES. THE TERROR CONTINUES, YET THINGS ARE BETTER.

McCAIN USES THE TERM VICTORY A LOT. AT LEAST OUR COMMANDERS HAVE REALISTIC VIEWS. WARS SHOULD NEVER BE MADE FOR POLITICAL GAIN. THE TERROR MUST STOP! A SHIFT IN FORCES IS JUST A START. LETS BRING 'EM HOME, AND SHOW THESE SOLDIERS OUR FULL SUPPORT! OUR COUNTRY OWES IT TO OUR FUTURE LEADERS TO BRING THIS ONCE PROCLAMED MISSION ACCOMPLISHED IN MAY 1, 2003 TO A CLOSE. A RESPONSIBLE SAFE HAND OVER IS A NO BRAINER.

  • I rented this movie and I am scared. People are dying in Irak. People are living in shameful conditions in Irak. People are being kidnapped in Irak. The people in charge in the Bush administration have always downplayed the seriousness of the situation. This war has cost over a trillion dollars and now you have the American Congress authorizing a $700 billion bailout for Wall Street. If people can create such a farce of a war and spend away that much money, I think the future is very grim.

  • Thank God for Secretary Gates and General Petraeus. They may yet salvage something out of Iraq.

But was it worth it? Ultimately was it worth the blood of American men and women to exchange a neutered dictator for a largely paralyzed democracy?

  • It should've been a quick war but there was no post-invasion plan because of the terrible mis-management. What I don't understand is Obama talks about a strong Al Qaida in Iraq, an Iranian influence that grows with instability, and 4 years of mis-management and how do we fix this? Not by changing the management, policies, and tactics but by leaving. That's really going solve our problems... just leave.

  • Obama knows it's too late to just leave. The important thing is that he knows the war was a mistake to begin with.

  • Joe Biden voted for the invasion in 2003. The thing is, it was a completely different contex in 2003 and really the plan to overthrow the Ba'athist Regime and dispose the Saddam family wasn't a mistake. There should've been more diplomacy and a much more gradual lead-up to the war but when the options are do nothing or do something, I'd choose the latter.

  • Yes, it was a mistake.

  • Yeah, and how about those brown people?

  • I think this particular little war should stop.

  • Interesting...

  • A very moving film. Very much worth the time to watch no matter your stance on the war.

  • Walt Slocombe is a piece of shit!

  • I dont even see a plane in the surveilence video of the Pentagon strike .... jets are huge last time I checked ..... is this a missile perhaps?

  • Documentary on Incompetence.

Hard to believe people voted for Bush twice.

    USA is definitely on decline.

  • They are dumb

  • I hope this book does not come with pictures. I could not handle seeing any more violence.

  • Watch

    ZeitGeist- the federal reserve

    Money as Debt

Find out the policies that are cheating the greater good out of power!!! Don't forget to vote!!!!

  • how do you know this? Not that this surprises me.

  • if he only was their puppet. By now I believe they are all puppets of people whose names we probably have hardly ever heard. Like they said in "Zeitgeist" the media keep us in a big innocent bubble.

  • That's British, French is wine and cheese.

  • The government has and always will lie to the public no matter what. This time we're more aware of it, with the wmd's, that's all. Whatever bone-head came up with that as our main reason to go to war, needs a whoopin.

  • It was certainly a choice, that is when you consider doing nothing as an option. As Colin Powell advocated for, there should've been much longer diplomacy and benchmarks that if not meet, they would continue to have appropriate reprimands ie harsher economic santions and/or insertion of troops into kuwait and possibly opening of turkey... It is a legitimate reason, Bush knew Saddam would play into his hands and rushed into war.

  • Neither Johnson nor Grant had the kind of power that Bush has. It wasn't until FDR that the President began to acquire the kind of Imperial powers he has today on a semi-permanent basis.

  • Because Andrew Jackson didn't disobey the Senate and take 10s of thousands of Native americans on the trail of tears and into reservations. Disobeying the Senate and getting away with it... just about as imperial as it gets.

  • Id rather be six feet underground then under Bush 2, but sure

  • yes, this is a documentary detailing what really happened and not some bullshit about a wmd being dropped.

  • Obama is saying that he wants to draw back the troops immidieatly, is that really the right thing to do?

  • The user has a director status, everyone can apply for it on youtube if you have the rights to the material youre putting up. Thats why they can upload extra long videos.

  • 7 minutes into this and it's clearly propaganda full of half truths guarded by gate keepers. Israel is clearly behind 9/11 and the Iraqi war. This may explain why this long video is allowed on you tube. 15 minutes is about all I can handle of this propaganda. The US has killed 18 millions people around the world sense after WWII and we will pay dearly, very soon.

  • Wow you are a fucking idiot! The whole point of the movie is to show how the U.S. and Bush administration dropped the ball. This stuff comes from the mouths of the people who were there not some willy nilly shit. Wake up jack ass. I know we will and are paying by creating more and more angry people out for revenge and they show that. Go vote for McCain dildo he has a short attention span like you.

  • The only thing McCain and Bush share is the same profession.

  • You are the only fucking indiot here, dip shit. This is je w ish gate keeper shit

  • and you mu sir, are a fucking idiot.

  • Its not full of half truths, everything is true here, even if Israel is behind this war, they are behind it, the US are the ones who are carrying out the occupation Israel is just giving some pressure.

  • Israel is a country less than a tenth of the US and needing its heavy support why the fuck would we be run from a small nation like that? They are a brave and hard people, who fought off and beated 3 different nations in 6days.

  • Because the first lie was osama bin Laden was behind 9/11. That blows the whole film because they are interviewing gatekeepers.

  • LOL. Your such an idiot.

  • If i were in that position, my ppl getting killed for no reason, rape of women by soldiers, arresting or killing the wrong ppl, I wouldnt have though twice before joining the insurgency and neither have any American who was in this positon.

  • This is like.. extra extra long.

I didn't know Youtube allowed videos this long on here. Huh.

  • its a documentray... it won the oscar for best documentary in 2007 so there letting it on for free now so that more can see it probably.

  • August 28, 2008- 90 Afghan civilians massacred by US airstrike.

youtube search- Afghanistan: The Good War

  • So glad they put this on for free. Hope a lot of people watch this.

  • Charles Ferguson, great truthteller

  • This is the most revealing and powerful video I have seen on this subject. Please please forward this to as many people as you possibly can.

  • The Bush group is the true terroist second to none.

They killed 4000 American young men and women. They killed hundreds of thousnds of Iragi children and women and still killing..

  • Strange how the pentagon is hit right where the accounting and budget office is, right after a statement made by the military that they could not account for 2 trillion dollars worth of spending.

  • electronics technician first day on the job lost his life on the Pentagon

  • Look America was taken for a ride by the boys with the money to be made in Iraq. Meanwhile the Bush buds are making a fortune, America is bankrupt and many people who should not be dead are dead. F.............bush

  • OMG this gulf war shit is getting so fricking boring now, cant we have a new war now? I dont care what saddam did, i dont even care how many dumb american kids got killed, i dont care about the stupid fricking politics of it all, JUST HURRY UP WITH THE DAMN OIL YOU MORONS

  • MrCriticize?

Yeah, & they attacked the wrong country too; they should have invaded Israel & sent off a bunch of ignorant British morons off to fight the Jews: Cheers! Who cares how many die on either side as long as it's not Americans. JUST GET IT OVER WITH QUICK SO WE DON'T HAVE TO SPEND OR LEND YOU TOO MUCH MONEY

  • USA...Home to Soulja Boy...Americans should be ashamed of themselves

  • USA = leaders of corruption and stupidity.

  • CandelarioGaIvan: The people of Iraq were grateful to the U.S. for removing Saddam but they have grown to resent us. 1) Troops standing around and watching as looting destroyed the nation and its cultural history, 2) The ordering of the dismantling of the Iraq Army....it is crystal clear that the New World Order agenda, a PNAC fantasy, was the order of the day. The Neocons--every one of them--must face war criminal trials.

  • Bahiaitiano: You are absolutely correct. But we put defense contractors and failed businessmen with no military experience, who arrogantly disregard the feedback (Bush could not even be bothered to read a ONE page summary?) that does not flow with the Neocon New World Order Plan, this is what we get. Utter chaos. 4000+ troops dead. Many more wounded for life. And NO photography allowed of returning caskets from Iraq. Call the Neocons what they are: Fascists.

  • Really, people. This film is essentially a narration of the whole screw-up by the top Bush (oops, I mean President Cheney's) administration, mostly through the eyes of people who tried to do a good job WTHIN IT!!! How dense can the brain of members of the Fox News sect be?!! Geez!

  • Anyone who thinks this is a partisan, liberal, anti-Republican film needs a good pharmacist. And should also chide their parents for not having used contraception upon proceeding to the banging which produced them.

Most of the people interviewed in this doc weren't Iranian-Taliban Afghani-Al Qaeda-Communist Cuban-North Korean-Chavez supporters but rather PEOPLE HIRED, MANDATED AND PAID BY THE ADMINISTRATION THAT *beep*ED IT UP, BOTH FOR THEIR OWN NATION AND FOR THE WHOLE WESTERN WORLD, FOREVER.

  • doobie4416

The conduct of this war is no longer being set by the USA. The left wing has destroyed our ability to do that.

It is being set by the Muslims and they are more than willing to keep killing Iraqis till they get what they want.

After that they will move on to the next victim.

  • CandelarioGaIvan:

I disagree. The "enemy," if you are referring to who attacked the U.S. on 9/11, is strong in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia---NONE of the 9/11 terrorists were from Iraq. Or Iran. Yes, Saddam was a fanatic and his sons were psychotic. But they were removed years ago. Why do we remain? The looting....why were the troops ordered to just sit and watch? The nation tore (and continues to tear) itself apart. It is a Civil War. Withdraw NOW.

  • doobie4416

Sorry but if u could click reply I respond a lot faster

AS to the enemy, you are viewing through a western bias. You see nations they view religon. Borders mean nothing

Now you ask after the removal of Saddam why does the USA stay?

Well after the removel of Hitler why did the USA stay?? Cuase the USSR would have moved in and taken over the place.

Same here, once again looking at this through western bias. You see it as a civil war. They see it as a chance to gain power

  • doobie4416

I'm on da fon wit DuByA as we speak...I'll have us outta der in 2 wks - sorry, dats da best I can do: In da mean time, smoke another doobie.

  • TeamSTALKERS

    Fuck your sorry ass

  • Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!

Zionists rule the world, call them internationalists, bankers, elitists what ever lets call a spade a spade. PNAC is almost entirely jewish. AIPAC rules american politics and gets to endorse presidential candidates. They OWN the media: Watch Zionist Mass Media right here on YT.. Wake up 9/11=Mossad

  • nonsense

american corporations are controlled by greed and dominance over others that is it

  • Explain how this video is hypocrisy and full of misinformation.

Do Rumsfeld, Cheney and Wolfowitz have YouTube accounts now?

Every American should see this documentary before voting in November. This is what 8 years under Neocon fascism will get you---a trillion dollar illegal war, 4000+ U.S. troops dead, countless more maimed, the Government BANNING photography at Dover AFB of returning caskets, lies, cover ups, utter arrogance and dysfunction.

Vote for McCain and expect the same.

  • It's pure, simple and easy. I wish more Americans could open their eyes and see it like you do.

And the republicans think they are doing a great job!<----assholes

  • doobie4416

    It is missnformation cuase

1 It doesn't explain a thing about the enemy

2 It only shows negative aspects of the war3

3 It has no counter argument

4 It pretends to be impartial

  • The truth is far worse

the enemy was created by, for, and from US

    the surge was a farce

UCLA Geographers with Land-Sat mapping can show

that it had no demonstrable effect on political grassroots situation

Iran is stronger than ever, Russia is stronger than ever

they have greater resources for success this century

and all non-aligned countries will continue to depend on them and not US and that will drive the trade deficits, fiscal deficits and the value of american land lower until finally zero
