Sorry to blow things for you but this is a 914 dude! The 916 was the the Le mans race car. The 914 is a Beautiful car mind - great sound. Shame they stopped making them!

This is a 916. I saw one myself personally when it was for sale here in San Francisco at Bush and Franklin. It was sold for around $135,000

that is a 916 or a very very good replica.
there were about 11 pre productions made.
this might be one of them - looks the real deal.
the lemans car was a 914/6 GT.
a 917 is a flat 12 monster.
