"He spooked at something while being ridden and bolted. The rider came off and the horse ran toward the barn. He got into a freak accident and slid into the side of the barn and lacerated his right hind leg about 4 inches above the fetlock on the back of the leg. cut both branches of the arterial blood supply, and nerves. Even if there has been a 10% chance of us being successful to recover him

Wow, he was really good at it... when he dead, how old was him?¿?¿? I meet a horse, which was competing in jumping , dressage and cross country, and he was an 20 years old retired race horse, and he competed all his life, he dead with 30 years old, galloping though he fields at the sunset... his name was Crio Chico, Pure English Breed, his name means "little boy"... i love him a lot, he was my first ride horse

i hadn't heard about his accident (i'm in the Uk) but that is just so very very sad. when they're so full of life and have 'silly' accidents it some how sadder. i had a 12.2 new forest who regularly beat horses four hands bigger than her - the bigger the jump the better she loved it. she had an accident in her field and broke her leg and couldn't be saved, but she would have hated not to be able to jump. my heart goes out to karen o'connor

Great video. I loved Teddy so much. I have a 14.2 3/4" arabian horse that I event with and he looks just like teddy. Teddy really inspired us. I want to take my horse to Rolex some day and Teddy showed me that even though they're small size doesn't matter. Its heart. RIP Teddy!
