The newly formed Telsa motors in Cali with their EV's will destroy the big 3 if they can build a car that can go halfway across the country without having to burn money on gas!! Give em time!! I will be hopefully driving the new Model S in a couple of years and laughing and driving by all of the people that are still having to fill up their vehicles every two days with $10.00 a gallon gasoline from the middle east and who knows where else it comes from!!

*their Volt is still slave to a gasoline engine, has 1/4 of the range of the EV1 (without gas)

*They cannot use the NiMH battery technology that GM used to have a stake in, because they sold it to Texaco Oil.

*GM ignored the soaring oil prices and went on with 'business-as-usual" manufacturing gass-guzzlers, making GM lose 90% of its share price and $85M.

It all happened under his [lack of] leadership.

Before Obama ran for president which top corporation would of hired him as a CEO? I know most company's would of looked at his accomplishments and resume and said not enough experience. Then he gets elected to the top office in the world. In less than 100 days commits the US to spending more than all the presidents before him combined.
