It is so sad that these children are losing their rocks (their mothers) to this terrible disease. Already born into a life which is a constant struggle, the one person they can count on to protect and love them is brutally taken away by the monster we know as AIDS. Barely able to find clean water, how can we expect these women to protect themselves with condoms? They are not readily available to them the way they are in the states. What we need to do is have those Northern European men that carry the resistant genes to donate their sperm and to have African women artificially inseminated so that the genes can be passed on in the new offspring.
