  • it's meant to be belted..

  • @shloopy5 Yup I know. Sorry.

  • Are you using the Nathalie Hawkins version? It sounds good but you kind of sound like your struggling you have a beautiful voice but if I were you I would choose a song thats less wordy. A song that you should do is 'Part of your World' from The Little Mermaid! Good job! :D

  • still not so bad :]

  • @MrAarontothemax Heh...thanks.

  • You have a very natural voice and I personally think you sing beautifully. :) Thanks for this. :)

  • @LetCorgisHaveWings34 Thank you so much!

  • @agmini You're welcome. ^_^

  • hey , your really good :) are you using the natalie hawkins version in the background :)

  • @hollysuzanne1

    No, it's Leslie Henstock.

  • you can hear the voice in the track you are using in the background..

  • @MrAarontothemax

    Yeah, I know...sorry...

  • WOW! you sing very very beautiful! :]

  • Really terrific voice!!

  • amazing!!!!

  • LOADS of potential!

  • sounds like an old days sk8er boi song? mmm think you got something but really can't tell with the real voice shaddowing your voice!!!

  • u have potential, but u sing in ur nose a bit too much :|

  • this is really good!

  • Thank you!

  • i think you could became part of any band by now!

    your a good singer!

maybe you should up load some lyrics!

your vocie is triffice(not that good of a speller)

  • not bad! you have a very lovely voice. kudos!!

  • you are made of awesome.

you sound just like my friend singing this.

    and she is amazing!

  • you're soo good

  • I LOVE IT!! You have alot of talent. Just to add a tip that helped me through my breathing was if you take your biggest breath and exhale as slowly as possible. Now from experience I will tell you that it is probably not the best idea to do it while driving, but all in all it is a good workout. Also if you listen to Mamma Mia's Take a Chance and try to sing the backgroung (take a chance, take a chance, take-a take-a, chance chance)for as long as you can it helps too. Not while driving. Jake

  • I don't think the vibrato is a problem. Too much vibrato can be a little, well, too much. But it doesn't make you seem like you're trying too hard. I personally prefer vibrato to straight tone most of the time (as long as it's not over the top). You're very talented but I think the problem is your breathing. You need to learn to control it. That and I really just think this song should be belted at the end, not sung in head voice. But good job, overall. Love this song.

  • I still really like it! I think you have alot of talent!

  • great voice! don't be to neat on the rhythm, though, it's a story that accidentally has been changed into a song; let the eights go and sing it like you would tell it ;-) But great job!

P.S. Forgive me for any errors in this message; I'm dutch....

  • where did you get this track?

  • GREAT!!!!!!

  • I Love it

    your voice is amazing

    *throws bouquet of flowers*

  • I Love it

    your voice is amazing

    *throws bouquet of flowers*

  • how can u critise this? ur voice is fantastic!

  • OH. and maybe not using it so much...the vibrato. Because then it just sounds like you're trying to hard.

    But still. Great job.

  • heh when I'm nervous or excited, I can't control the vibrato as well. I usually have very fast, light vibrato, but it gets slower and more...noticeable when I'm nervous. I'm 22.

  • You have a good vibrato in your voice. How old are you?

  • Dont worry. I REALLY MEANT AMAZING. haha.

  • Heh okay, thank you. Sorry, just sometimes you get comments that are something like..."Amazing how you COMPLETELY SCREWED UP THAT SONG." :-p

  • ...amazing.

  • Um...is that a compliment? thank you very much, if it is..

  • I really like this song and you sung it beautifully.weldone!xx

  • Thank you!

  • if you do have the instrumental alone, could you please let me know and let me use it?

this is my second-favorite song from The Last Five Years, and my favorite to sing. I have audiotions in the next few days, and I've been looking for this instrumental, and I haven't been able to find it ANYWHERE, so if I could use it.... I'd love you forever?

    =]

  • Sorry, I don't have the instrumental, I'm just singing over another recording.

  • ok two things..

you've got a really pretty voice

a bit airy at times..but that's not a bad thing!

two- could you send me the backround to this?!?! i want to sing it for something, but i doubt the pianist can keep up..thanks!! great job again!

  • sorry, but I'm just singing it over another recording; I don't have just the accompaniment.

  • To help keep your throat relaxed, you should 'fluff', as my voice teacher says, your tongue forward. It should touch the back of your bottom teeth, and then feel kind of like it's overflowing over your bottom teeth.

Haha, this is my third post, sorry!

I wish I had a video or two of me singing, but I have one that was recorded before I started taking voice lessons. I will definitely try to post one that's recent.

  • Also, near the end of the song, I heard your voice give out a little bit. The scritchy sound is often caused by tightening your throat and pulling back your tongue. Tightening your throat happens at higher notes because you're probably afraid of not hitting the notes. Just relax and be confident, if you mess up, it's alright. Just keep going at it with confidence (and breath support). The best mistakes are the loud ones.

  • Wow, thanks for the tips! I'll try those next time! I really appreciate your critique!

  • Try to work on vocal placement. In solo singing, the vocal placement should be very forward, and free.

Try singing through your entire range on a "nee". Zee and bee are also good. It feels extremely odd and it can make you really light headed. It will start strange to you as well, but to other people it will sound supported and louder.

  • you are a good singer

  • you have a good voice, but you're not sherie renee scott (I mean that literally, you aren't her). Try to make some of your own decisions about how some of the 'embellishments' sound :)

  • I am SO sorry that I never commented on this. You are really good!!! I really like it the way it is, but to improve it, I'd say show a bit more emotion, and don't be afraid to hit the hight notes. I used to hold back a bit, like you are, but you have to let go. You be amazing if you "soar" as my teacher calls it. :) Still, this was VERY good! Thanks for sharing. :)

  • maybe a bit more softer..not too sharp. vibratto needs work. but overall very nice. :)

  • hmmmm needs more passion- i think more thought needs to be put into the words. unique and sweet voice though!

  • one thing i've noticed in a few of your videos is the note slippage! and breath support but other than that you were REALLY good... from one musical actor to another (or potential one) keep it up and you could have an amazing career in this business that we call show!!

  • Thanks for the tip!

  • Good job Agmini. Hearing this makes me think you'd do well as the lead in a Broadway musical someday. Keep it up.

  • Thank you! I'm flattered!

  • Your voice is lovely!x

  • who is that in the background?

  • A woman named Leslie Henstock, I saw her in a touring company as Cosette in Les Miserables and bought her CD.

  • phenomenal voice u have got there :D

  • very very great! *_______*

  • u have a awesome voice:D good luck being famous one day:)

  • great voice, god bless, ur gifted:)
