  • ive seen attacks so many in my life just aint normal

i have epilepsy myself so know what those people going true

  • They there might be that find it funny, (not here) but we have a student who died from it last year. :''''(

  • Do they know what is happening when they have epilepsie?

  • porecita, yo tengo esa enfermedad y cuando pierdo la consencia es raro.. es como estar muerta pasas por muchos lugares, no odio la crisis odio la perida de consencia..

  • roll her over she might swallow her tongue (serious)

  • Blank Stare seizure.

  • I was told yesterday at the hospital that I might have epelepsie so they are sending me for a brain scan at Sheffield hospital. :'(

  • Hee..

  • I have epilepsy, I never know it's happened until my mum tells me! just feels like waking up after a nap.

  • she looks like shes having a "Stargazing" epileptic fit. is she? And what exactly is Rett?

  • whats rett syndrome? I'm a EMS but i did not learn what rett syndrome is.

  • rett syndrom is a a disease that affects girls, it is a degenerative disorder in which a child pretty much stops normal development, (after being born normal). And they eventually lose their current abilities, they will lose the ability to walk, talk and many other things.

(i used to take care of a girl with rett syndrome, she lived to age 25)

  • Why don't you just have her put to sleep?

  • Because these medication is sometimes worse then the seizure itself.

  • She isn't an animal! You can't just put her to sleep. It is illegal to euthanise people in most countries, and even in the ones where it is legal you have to prove beyond doubt that their quality of life is zero. I think she is a beautiful little girl.

  • @XeclipseXmomentX ...................

  • I wish she could agree or disagree. She does not mind because she has Rett syndrome. She is and will not be aware of this videos. Hopefully the attention for this kind of seizures by other parents and medicians will benefit her.

  • @RettNetwerk

keh? the video to the right says she died in 07, yet your comment that is dated 1 year ago sounds as if she isnt aware of these videos just because of her condition not because she is dead.

  • @RettNetwerk She was having an absence siezure, right?

  • Did that girl agree this to be shown in public?

  • Petit Mal? These usually occur btwn the ages of 4 to 12. Is there commonly a further development after that age of generalized seizures (grand mal)?

  • Do you mean mental development? Rett syndrome is characterized by a possible minimal progress in communication skills depending on the stimulation. There is no physical improvement.

  • Edgar Casey said sezures start in the digestive system. Odd! We are now against all medical system after 2 different 5 day stays in hospital for seizures. Celiac disease was one thing we found for our family to be one cause. Lots of people out there are putting blame on Monsanto and now that they are buying up glutten free products and seizure meds we are thinking the same. Eat local organic if you can. Hope you can look into some of these things. Peace

  • i hope shes ok, im also epileptic.

  • What must we do if we see somebody like this ?

Must we do something ? call a doctor ? =O

  • Yes, call an emergency medical service. They will have medication if necessary.

Also you can remember the time it started and the exact features of the seizure, so you can describe the events to medical people.

  • in five years time she will not like the fact that millions of people saw all this

  • She is a Rett syndrome girl, which means she is not aware of your concern. What she will like is that people understand her behaviour better, because they have seen it before.

  • ok sorry so she would be ignorant to her ... i dont want to be rude

  • may god help you whit this,is not easy to see your child everydag like this

  • She is like this for 24 hours every 10 days. Inbetween she's a happy child.

  • why do you put this videos on the web, this is very sad, she dont look happy.

  • For information: o show other people around Rett syndrome what to expect

For better treatment: to show medical professionals what they otherwise can't see.

  • how old is she?

  • She's 11 years old. Her disease is called Rett syndrome.
