I "Sorta" did an only run once. But, I used two pokemon. Jolteon and Charziard :)

@theskye101 that is not an "only run". you picked two pokemon that are good against the other pokemons weaknesses, and you let your pokemon evolve, so you kind of use 5 pokemon. Also, you used two pokemon that are known for being good, pokemon like hoppip and starly are known for being weak and easy to kill even though they have very good evolutions. you most likely never knew the pain of having to fight rock and steel gyms with just a starly, it is hell.

@LemonDemonDude Yeah, I was like 7 when I did that run. And the Charziard has wonder guard XD And actually I didn't let them evolve, I traded them from my diamond game. And thanks for not being like "Thats not an only run idiot!" :)

Gary is the rival in the anime - Blue is the rival in the games.

They aren't the same person with different names.

Most people thinks Red is Ash because in USA the anime came first.

Also, Blue is the rival's name in USA - Green is the rival's name in Japan.

Hope it explains everything.

It would be awesome, but think about it;

there's 8 gym leaders in each of the 4 generations, making it have 32 gym leaders. Even if they gym leaders started at level 3, you'd be level 96 by the time you reach the Elites.

It IS a good idea though.

I, personally, think a pokemon game where it's free-range and you get to BE a pokemon would be fun.
