Everyone's complaining that "Oh no, Dante's Inferno plays just like God of War! Waaah, it sucks!!!" Honestly, every game you play now pretty much is ripping off someone's old idea or a direct sequel to something that used to be fresh. Look at any first person shooter on the market. Different graphics, different weapons, but you're essentially the same floating hand with a gun in all of them. Dante's Inferno is fun and in the end, isn't that what matters?

God of War>DMC>Ninja Gaiden

I like them all, but God of War just has really nice and simple controls what just work right away. Plus the story of the game is awesome, not to mention Kratos as a character.

I just happen to like DMC, XD. End of.

Ninja Gaiden's controls (and that damn camera from hell!) are hard to master, but once you get them right you can destroy anything in your path. The game gets rewarding once you mastered everything. But it's plot is shallow and plainly sucks.

I happen to like God of War more, it is much more fun and because the controls are more simple it is more fun to play as you can concentrate right away to playing the game itself.

It is rewarding to play Ninja Gaiden and master it, but I still think it lacks elements that God of War has. God of War is just much more fun to play.

So no, I didn't get it backwards.

@Arppis The thing that throws GoW at the top for me is the story. Their interpretation of mythology is pretty fucking awesome. Despite the fact that they have Helios as a main god in 3 instead of someone more deserving like Artemis.

Helios is hardly a "main" god in 3 considering the fact that you kill him so easily. And who's to say Artemis isn't in the game, hmm?

Aye. But I kinda like the combat system most out of those 3, the controls are just solid and responsive all the way without huge learning curve, thus you will spend more time having fun and mastering them.

But the story is really entertaining.

I think I'll buy Dante's inferno later, the game seems good.
